How'd you pull off the low poly models might I ask

It's hard to give a general answer to how I pull it off. I'm mostly self-taught and most of what I do is built off basic box modeling.
I usually try to keep the model itself relatively simple, and rely on the sprite textures for any finer details. I generally don't use any real-time lighting effects and also use the textures for shading.
Here's the main character of my game with wireframes for reference:
For characters I've made a few base character models which I use as a starting point for individual characters.
Aside from that it's mostly just practice, looking up youtube tutorials or model references when I need help/want to see how someone else does something, and experimenting to see what works.
But, also, like I said, I'm mostly self-taught and what works for me and my stile doesn't necessarily work for everyone.

It's always nice to figure out a genre or general plan to pursue on a project that lacked it, but man am I having maximal aspirations at a time where I have minimal motivation.
I've been inspired by the massive amount of Monster Hunter I've been playing recently to pursue something similar for my Post-Apoc Giant Robot Battler game idea but... man there's a lot of facets to this idea.
At least thinking about it gets me excited
i have a theory that iron lung (the game) was created specifically to make use of a camera that projects its view onto an in-world texture, yknow the same effect as the big jumbotrons in mario kart that display your pov, or the Portals from Portal? i dont know anything about the development of iron lung so i could be totally wrong but i want to believe...
Working on the DLC save system setup some more for today's Nightmare Kart dev post!
Added 2 more screens: the first screen requiring the player to input the save profile name, while the second 'confirm' screen provides a bit of context to the story before loading into the tutorial.

Iv been testing Rhells Randomizer mode and its really satisfying to be able to play my own puzzles but get to actually solve them with the limited random magic you get available
i went through maybe 80% of my game just making a giant fire bubble and bouncing off it
For my RPG's first area I'm going for some sort of exhausted city filled with hive guy office workers and a boring corporate feel. I hope I was able to illicit this. I added a background and foreground with parallax to sell it as a bigger area. The environment was very still so I added dust particles to give it some movement. Battle transitions and changing scene transitions will be up next to add in the game. If you have any suggestions on what to add, let me know.
