It may come as a surprise to some but I'm not really a pearl loving tiger. Regardless, our visit with Claude at his pearl farm learning about the gems, his business and the Fijian pearl market made for a super interesting afternoon. Civa focuses on producing coloured pearls with names like Apple Green and Cranberry Red. But Ralph's Bay is home to a fish responsible for preventing a multimillion dollar development going ahead at the expense of its survival.
