A very happy 40th birthday to my idol, Dani Pedrosa, who in addition of being a fantastic pilot; is an incredible human being.

I had the chance to meet him at the redbullmania earlier this month.

First after the main stage interview while signing a few autographs, he let me took my time to explain to him how much his racing meant to me (in my horrible spanish, which is pretty stupid since he understand french) even when security was pressuring us to move along. I was able to give him my bracelet and like the angel he is, he took our picture because I was shaking too much.

Later that day I was able to see him again at the paddock and he was just so nice, taking time to sign and take pictures with everyone even when he knew he was late to interviews.

All that to say I hope this new decade bless him with everything that he wishes for!!!!

Jorge Martin will leave the team that helped him through the highs and lows of his career and didn't gave up on him after a terrifying accident in his rookie season.

It's the last race where the Marquez brothers will be teammates and the last before Marc is once again part of a factory team

It's the last race of Aleix Espargaro, the last rider that has been on the grid during Marco Simoncellis career.

It is the last race of Taka Nakagami, a rider that has been an inspiration to many Japanese children.

It's the last race of Augusto Fernandez after only 2 years in MotoGP.

It will be the last for Ai Ogura, Somkiat Chantra and Fermin Aldeguer as moto2 riders.

It probably will be the last race where Honda is still having a spark of the iconic orange Honda colors since Repsol won't sponsor them next year.

Do you remember?? This day, ten years ago, Dani Pedrosa won the race in the 125cc class at Sepang against Kallio and Lorenzo. Dani also took the title of World Champion class 125 cc!
