“Ah --- Sorry, sorry!” Tip grimaced and tried to hold back from cursing under her breath as she bent down to pick up all of the items that had scattered out of her backpack after she’d dropped it after colliding with the stranger. She’d been running, so it was her own fault, really.
“Didn’t mean t’run into you like that.”

Tip wasn’t able to fully register what she was seeing for a long moment, her eyes wide in stunned disbelief. After spending so much time with no humans than herself in sight -- it was just an incredible relief to see somebody who even resembled a human. The other woman was beautiful, tall -- and Tip found her feet moving her towards the stranger, needing some different company for once.
“Sorry -- I -- Who are you?” She blurted out, still staring, green eyes wide with curiosity.

Tip lagged behind her class as they wandered, on a tour of The San Fransokyo Institute of Technology. It was a cool place, it was, and Tip wanted to hear more about what their guide was saying, but if she had to deal with Amanda Herron tugging on one of her curls one more time, she was gonna flip out. So, she lagged behind.
It gave her time to wander a little and look at the cool tech on display, at least. Glancing around, Tip paused as she noticed a boy close to her own age seemingly struggling with a few boxes, and headed towards him, reaching out and steadying the small pile with a small smirk pulling at her lips.
“----You look like you could use a hand.”
“Tip, huh?” Absentmindedly, Marinette wondered where she’d gotten a nickname like Tip from Gratuity Tucci, but maybe it was just an English thing. Nevertheless, she smiled. “That’s a really nice name! Super unique.”
“Now…we’re looking for a Boov. Do you know where you last saw him?” Marinette’s slightly accented words cause the term Boov to sound a little odd, but she trusted Tip would know what she meant. She did nod slightly as she looked around for any telltale sign of purple. “Oh—oui, I’ve been living here my whole life. I mostly stick around the 21st arrondissement,”—when she wasn’t swinging around in spots, that is—“But I’m sure we can find him.”
“Yeah, there’s a funny story behind the name, actually, but I think that’s a story for another time.” Tip admitted, letting go of Marinette’s hand to slip both of her own back into her pockets. That was one good thing about the language barrier, she supposed, no-one here would give her weird looks because her name was literally the official word for money-based tips. Small blessings.
“Yeah, well, we were by Slushious -- that’s our car -- and I was lookin’ at the gps on my phone..” Tip frowned slightly. “He was with me for a bit, because we were talking.. so I guess it was around this area, just back that way.” She turned and pointed, letting out a sigh. She hoped Oh wasn’t trying to eat any Parisian works of art again. “Thanks a bunch -- We can take the car, might be good to get a birds eye view..” She pondered, before adding hastily: “Oh modified the car so it can fly, I mean.”
.
She was looking at the map app on her phone until she heard the other person speak “did you say park avenue? lucky for you i’m looking for that place myself I need to get some food to eat oh sorry” pulling up the app once more “what street is this that we’re on right now”.
“Well, s’good to know I’m not the only one, at least.” Tip noted with a small smile, glad that she was going to get some help, at least. It was pretty lucky this girl was looking for the same place -- crazy coincidence, really. “This street? Oh, uh, I think it’s Academy Street.”
I just woke up but i wanna go back to bed tbh

“Hey, sorry t’bother you or whatever, but do you know how to get to Park Avenue?” Tip tapped her finger against the screen of her phone with a small, irritated frown. “Dumb thing isn’t workin’ properly.” She breathed a sigh, but looked at the other with a small, hopeful smile. Directions would definitely be helpful.

“This isn’t New York City.” Tip stared around her at her surroundings, staring at the bilboards and buildings. There were a lot of strange animal themed advertisements, she noted.
What had happened was even a blur to her, though she knew it had something to do with Slushious and the Gorg Super Chip. Whatever had happened, the trip had been extremely fast, and so dizzying, as soon as she’d opened the door to stumble out, Pig had taken off with a frightened yowl. Tip had shaken off the dizziness, and then run after her cat.
“Pig! PIG! Come on, Pig! It’s okay!” She had managed to lose track of him. Wonderful. Grimacing, Tip ran her fingers through her curls, and only paused when she noticed a familiar blue uniform, and she smiled. An Officer -- maybe they saw Pig run by, and maybe they could tell her where she was. However, as soon as she’d considered that idea, she also became aware that the officer.. was a fox.
An actual fox. On two legs.
She really could only stare, eyes wide, mouth slack, trying to absorb what she was seeing. She’d seen a lot of crazy things, but this was.. incredibly unexpected.
