So I wanted to make a part 2

I was listening to “another brick in the wall” and remembering how much I loved Dr. Lobatse. She was a SOLID character that we haven’t seen in along time. I don’t remember what happened to her.

So I want to congratulate STS and its team of writers because they are making us feel how the character of five would be feeling if we were them, in this situation. Without five saying a word.

Even know we’re as observers are being like tended to, when has STS ever coddled us and not ripped out our hearts and then put it back in saying we’re fine.

Things are repeating and we will see Mullins base when we come back.

How thinks have changed

Spoilers…

I was listening to “another brick in the wall”.

I forgot how much I used to genuinely enjoy these missions.

I think scorrigan has a point about them changing writers around season 7.

The plots and twists just haven’t been as deep as they used to. Not as much community, everyone one step away from breaking.

It feels shallow…

I feel as though as five we are the only ones seeing through the mess. It’s like we are almost 10 years in the apocalypse and we are more worse off then before. Not facing a threat from other zombies but from other humans.

Change is inevitable and I understand that.

It’s like we learned nothing and cycles are repeating. And five is the only one well enough to observe it. Not by their own volition but it just how they are made.

Another thing on accountability… from season 11.

People are getting angry at the uk for the zombies apocalypse and I’m here for it. Abel are used to being the hero’s but they come from the UK which is from where all this mess started.

Things will go back to how things were in season 1.

Interressting.

Just look who everyone will be looking to face justice amoung all else who’s left.

Peter and Janine are an abusive relationship developed by trauma bonding through the zombie apocalypse and work ties. One has a strict ill sacrifice you for the world mind set and the other has no self worth. Co-dependancy at it best

Hello hello! It’s been a while!!!

Spoilers for season 11 up to episode 4

So I’m going to review my thoughts up to season 11 mission 4.

So the first two missions were ok, new city, new characters and new cults to figure out.

They are still mistreating Peter which is something I don’t care for.

Also ummm… I sense a bit of distance from Jody. Like she is more in a command position then a co-runner/friend position. The comment about teaching us how to use a sniper when we already know how to use one, kind of shows the disconnect with Jody over the seasons. Still excited to have with us even if she doesn’t really now shit about our situation like Janine or Tom would.

Still miss Tom…

The writers are teasing aliens here and there in the last few seasons and I’m here for it. As an occultist I’m always there for the dark and weird.

It’s really the fourth mission that caught my eye and my attention. FINALLY moon child is coming back! But what really interesting is they managed to talk to quinzy in a way few people have before. That is telepathically. They are looking for five specifically and have this mysterious mask that supposed to have supernatural ability or most likely a piece of advanced tech mood child stole of someone else.

Also when they said that quinzy was almost five but not, gives validity to my clone theory.

So saying that who ever contacted quinzy has dossier on five and who know who deep it goes… I’m excited for that. Maybe coming to Bolivia was a trap to lure five with moon child in their head to a local place.

Excited for the dramatics and more background on fives past being exposed.

The Bolivian police women I could see as an enemies to lovers interest maybe? Seem unlikely at this point but Sam and Jody are here with us so it’s interesting the dynamics that will be happening. Especially when Sam is wishing for a vacation.. which obviously won’t be happening.

I’m curious how Sam’s and fives relationship will change and adapt to new info or break into pieces.

New zombies run mission.

I find the new zombies run missions so fucking boring. You can just tell it’s lazy writing and I can practically hear five screaming on the inside like “you guys are so slow COME ON” but like it’s not like they would say anything.

The building is clearly made of fungus….

Janine acting like “oh the humanity” is a low blow.

I feel like five is keeping up but like the rest of what we would have called command is lacking. Like the team has been stretched so far that they are basically broken. It’s over their heads and new people need to take over. We need to take our team and leave, inform the right people and let them handle it.

Season 10 episode 4

So I could tell Valmont was a bit much, like when is he not a bit much or maybe a lot lol. But like he made me feel rage at the point where the dead runners were. The slowly choked to death, they didn’t blam him but I do and I know Valmont does (not that he feels any remorse what so ever).

The EDDA part has me worried with it in Valmonts hands. The jumpsuit was a nice touch and I loved the salt in the description.

I felt more than I anticipated for Sam. His words inspired me like old times.

ALSO I WAS RIGHT…. THE PANACEA WASNT A CURE FOR DISEASES…. I knew it was a play. Sweet vindication🥰 at that note…transformed?

Also Valmont is such a corporate asshole… not the apocalypse I ordered… please. 🙄

Season 10 mission 3

Back to it as they say.

I enjoyed this mission. Me loving pathogenic biology to the point where my mom saw me to be one of the scientist in the blowups suits.

It seems as though the disease that are present in underdeveloped countries are interacting with the zombies virus to create new hybrid viruses. The part that stuck with me is “where they just left to die here” survive the zombie apocalypse only to die a couple years later… grizzly.

(Both the leptospirosis and the bobonic plague are bacteria not a virus like herpes or shingles but there are bacteriophages out there)

I love Mo’a dialogue, his voice is like a grandfather telling you stories of old when your just a child.

This episode and what I’ve been going through lately really got me thinking of death. Not just physical death but the connections we make and our perceived entitlement of what is “ours” and “permanent”. We as humans can’t deal with change well. But life is every changing even in death.

Then there is MAXINE. Who the fuck is this bitch… I swear I heard her still in Abel on radio mode, at the same time as Maxine is here with us. They was no sign on the radio she was leaving or has left. But here she is in Venice…. An omen of death. A sacred being in the occult practice, as we pay respects to the ever going cycle that are so much larger then us; life, chaos, death and rebirth.

Also Francis reminds me of five in the early seasons. I still don’t like her, but I can feel sympathy her.

Seems like they have been doing a lot of travelling, lots leads, no traces left behind.

I wonder how valmont is treating five….

Fives also probly dead on the inside at this point. Leading to a rebirth.

I left the mission wanting more… as always great work STS.
