Why stress is a shared experience
Autism research often frames us as passive victims of a hostile world. While societal stigma and rejection sensitivity are real, they aren't the whole story. Focusing on “overcoming” stress as a hero’s journey or "top sport" misses the point.
True insight lies in balancing external challenges with our own biological realities. Apps monitoring our every move often backfire, increasing pressure instead of reducing it. We need a grounded approach: navigating our environment while respecting our inherent sensory and executive limits. Let's move beyond the drama and focus on practical, sustainable rhythms for a life with more clarity and less unnecessary friction.
