almost at the end of february, and I survived!

i'm lost, and yet i always find myself going back, and then i'm lost again.
grabe yung emotions ko ngayon, naglalaro. hindi ko nanaman alam kung ano ang long-term goal ko sa buhay.
although i know that this roller coaster feeling is just repeating itself.
ganitong ganito din ako before freelancing eh, yung akala ko wala pakong achievements, walang maipagmamalaki, and then the other day, super proud ako sa sarili ko kasi nagawa ko to, and then history repeats itself the next months.
habang tumatagal, yung satisfaction na nakukuha mo pababa ng pababa kasi pataas ng pataas yung level.
2022 is indeed one of my best years (don't be jealous, 2021, you're still colorful)! I've grown so much that I never thought I would come to this point a few years ago.
God damn, it's a roller coaster.
Here are my highlights:
January: I pretty much worked so hard during this month. I had little time to do anything. Probably because I was too aggressive in working for money. But I remember I worked hard to get my working equipment set to be completed.
February: 'Tis the start of my 'travel-a-lot' journey. I lived in Baguio, but I haven't had the chance to visit there again because: a) I have no time since I was working and studying, and; b) I have no budget for travel. Then, there goes the free time and work-anywhere journey I took. So, there I was, an escapade to Baguio.
March: Dingalan, Aurora: The highlight of the month. I went there with Ash on a day tour package. I remember being annoyed because I had to go to work when we were climbing a mountain. But, hell. I decided to enjoy it anyway.
April: Graduation month. At last, our school decided to let us graduate, even with the minimal requirements incomplete. We obviously celebrated. And yes, I am Maura, a degree holder, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, majoring in marketing. Then, I came to the point where I had my 8th client. Imagine how workaholic I am just to achieve my goal, got my 8th client!!!
May: Birth month. We celebrated it at a private resort, obviously, drunk, high, and young. Don't really want to talk about it much, I'm so freaking wasted that I don't want to remember it anymore. LOL.
June: 1st highlight: Bar month. Ash and I decided to go bar hopping. It was a great experience. But, I never really enjoyed it much because I had work to do, LOL. 2nd highlight: We had like 2 motorcycles and we can't park them anymore at our last apartment. So, this month, we decided to get a new house with a parking lot. My boys helped me out with moving out. 3rd highlight: My partner and I also started doing some staycation trips, mostly around Tagaytay, and this is the first month of our staycation.
July: Went on a ride to Laguna. I always want to go to Nuvali and see what was in there, and boy, I was a little disappointed when I saw it, like "ito na yon?", or maybe we weren't just looking at the whole place, but yeah, I guess that was it during that time. I also tried visiting condos since I was planning to do an Airbnb.
August: 2nd staycation, again, at Tagaytay. This month, I also had an interview with one of my clients for her podcast, and it was a great experience, indeed! I think I can put it in my portfolio.
September: Another staycation. Damn, we're on fire, LOL. I guess I was really into traveling during this quarter, so we had to go somewhere else every weekend.
October: This month was a pure traveling story. You can go to this link for the whole highlight of the month.
November: This month is definitely one of the best wow moments of my life. I got my first car. I want it, I deserved it, I got it. ;) Although, yes. It's not financially ideal if you want to get out of the rat race, but if I can travel to all the places I want anytime I want, why not get a car, right? I mean, I'm 26, and my decisions are valid. I'm young, with no kids, and no responsibilities but to take care of myself. So yes, my Shishi's (my car's name) first long drive is obviously at Baguio.
December: Then, there goes December. I became an official Financial Consultant at PruLife. Starting another career yall! Obviously, I was also on the streets all the time, attending meetings, joining events, etc.

Okay, so here's another year. 2023, please be good to me :)
It's the month of contemplation. A month full of bad habits and procrastination. But, I enjoyed it. Hence, the beautiful disaster.
So where do I start? Obviously on the first week.
First week.
Out of nowhere, we decided to take a looong ride to Baguio, only with our motorcycles. No plan at all, for real. It was a good ride though, we get to pass at too many places: Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Bulacan, Pangasinan, La Union, etc. If you do not have patience, then don't try it, LOL.
We stayed in Alapo Adventure Camp for 2 nights as far as I remember and it was refreshing. I felt a Twilight vibe because we are surrounded by tall trees.
My partner and his friends get to meet my cousins and a long friend of mine.
Obviously, we went to a bar (Camp) but didn't really enjoy it much as we are all exhausted from the long ride. But here's the catch 😂
Basta there's a catch! HAHAHAHA
Anyway, I'll just keep it private. Our last stop was La Union where we enjoyed the waves and the evening chill.
This was the week I ended my contract with Foundr as well.
Second week.
It's Ash and Mau's adventure time.
The details are actually in my Journal App, so I'll keep it short here.
This is again, an unplanned trip where I decided to go visit my grandparents. We stayed there for 4 days traveling without a whole rest. There are unforeseen circumstances that made the story interesting. I still feel the Cordillera vibes and secretly want to go back in there because of its refreshing feeling. It brings back memories and sometimes, just want to stay there for a month just to get away from the City. I cannot though, I don't know what happened, but the connection there is too weak so I can't work properly. Anyhow. A good week indeed.
Third week.
This is a reset week for me.
Last week.
Last day of October, we celebrated Halloween with the og fam and a long friend from Baguio.
It was a fun and a good and bad memory again. LOL.
So that's how my October went. It was full of fucking memories which I regret some and enjoyed most.
a part of me is wishing that rick and morty theories are real about the universe, about how a portal gun can be created, and that my infinite self has different kinds of life based on what version of earth they belong to.
so i decided to take a client's offer at upwork and started working with him just this monday. it's still related to taking calls but atleast it's not that stressful. i was able to manage it for one week now. and i'm just waiting to have my first salary, maybe after 15 days, but after that it'll be weekly already, lol. anyway i hope i can see growth in here coz i'm looking forward to get a 70k+ monthly salary.
