LITTLE IS KNOWN ABOUT TIVAN IN THE MCU . so anything regarding his powers comes from 616 canon . despite being quite powerful , tivan doesn't use the majority of his power . when in his secondary form , tivan has been described as an IMPOSING POWERHOUSE .

in mortal form tivan stands at 6'2" , in his secondary form he stands at 7'1" . it's then when he's at his most powerful . tivan has not openly cultivated the power primordial , so not much is known about the extent or full range of his power .

PRECOGNITION ; this is perhaps the power he channels most often . tivan has precognitive glimpses of the future ( not always his timeline ) though they are very hazy . details , timeline & participants come to him after long periods of meditation .

IMMORTALITY ; being that tivan is an elder , he is immune to most things , primarily cell deterioration & illness . piercing his skin is difficult . with a strong will to live , he can regenerate lost limbs .

EMPATHY ; tivan is empathic . it isnt something he mentions unless he has difficulty reading anothers emotions . the older the being , the more he struggles . this ability is a heavy factor in his migraines . it isnt something he has full control over . while he can manipulate the emotions of others , it isnt something he'll do without their consent .

SECONDARY FORM ; as mentioned before , tivan is a physically imposing powerhouse . he possesses superhuman strength , invulnerability & comic energy manipulation for defense ( including offensive discharges & matter manipulation ) . while this is mostly limited to his secondary form , it's something he can use in humanoid form . it won't be as strong , & takes a lot of energy from him , it still causes a lot of damage .

as an elder , tivan can wield the infinity stones . his energy manipulation aids in allowing him to contain the power .

I’ve seen a fair few articles and posts about the Grandmaster and the Collector being brothers. While it’s still anyone’s guess how that will be interpreted by the MCU people, in the comics they’re not brothers by blood. They’re not even the same species, and didn’t grow up together.

Instead they consider each other brothers in destiny. They’re both incredibly old beings who are the last of their races and saw their homeworlds being destroyed. They call each other brothers because they know each others’ pain.

They’re surprisingly devoted to each other. When Collector died, Grandmaster offered his own life in place of Collector’s. When Collector woke up and saw Grandmaster dead beside him he flew into a rage and challenged Death to a game so he could win Grandmaster back. Apparently he won because they have both been seen in later comics.

While I really like the whole symbolic brothers thing, I can totally see MCU going with biological brothers just so they can make “This is why mom didn’t love you” jokes.
