SO MANY PEOPLE do NOT get why SCOTT PILGRIM acts like a BAD PERSON in any iteration of Scott Pilgrim and it's because he IS ONE

ITS PART OF THE WHOLE POINT

"Why does he date a seventeen year old he doesn't even really like that much?"

Because he's a BAD PERSON and dates her because it's EASY to date her because she doesn't deal with REAL WORLD PROBLEMS

"Why does he cheat on his girlfriend?"

Because he's a BAD PERSON who does things for his OWN CONVENIENCE because he has NO SELF RESPECT

"Why does he mooch off of a gay guy?"

Because it's EASIER to mooch off of a gay guy for him than to GET A JOB, which he is 100% capable of doing

You're not supposed to root for Scott Pilgrim because he's a good person who deserves to have a hot girlfriend with dyed hair, you root for him because you want him to change REALLY FUCKING BADLY. AND HE DOES.
