Where am I right now?
this is an ask blog for my Deltarune fanfiction, The Lightner’s Dream.
Why is this here?
Despite the fic’s completion, I feel there is still more to tell and explore with the world I’ve set up. Also, I wanted to be able to interact with my audience and expand on topics that people wanted to know more about (but weren’t answered within the fic.)
How does it work?
Simple! Send an ask, either directed at me (ex: Yeeticus/author, why did you do this?) or a character. (ex: Spamton, what is your favorite color?) for a character, make sure to specify the time period. Either:
A. Immediately post-fic (essentially this AU’s big shot era)
B. Deltarune era (this AU’s version of events during “Deltarune.” Don’t worry, I do have a plan for how Spamton stays in TV World.)
If no time period is specified, I will make an educated guess on what you were going for.
and yes, I do mean ANY character. Ranging from the main characters (Taffy, Spamton, Blue, Light, Topaz, Swatch, Tenna, Fycton) to any side characters, mentioned or otherwise (Sky Blue, Canary Yellow, Marigold, Swatchling #021, QUEEN, etc.) you could even ask Lightners like Kris or Noelle questions/hypotheticals, though I’m not sure what I could say that any specific ask blog to that character couldn’t.
if you want to ask me a direct question about the world or development of the fic, that is completely fine!
What will an answer look like?
depending on the question itself, it can range from a simple drawing, text answer, or emoji, to a full comic or diagram. Asks that include drawn-out scenarios will obviously take longer because of this, but it’s because I care 🫶
What are you NOT willing to answer?
Any ask that I consider to be malicious towards myself or my story I will not answer. Anything I consider a “spoilery” answer will be labeled as such and have a “keep reading” break, while anything that is overly disturbing, sexual, or otherwise outside of my realm of comfortability will be deleted and not answered. If you want any further clarification, send an ask/message and I will update this section accordingly.
