I've deleted twitter and threads and will not be hopping back on them until the W season (though i might crack for the draft lmao) because god knows I don't have time for the hatred that people are undoubtedly spewing. No one will be harder on themselves after today than Azzi and Sarah, and I just wish I could give them a big hug. This performance does not take away from the incredible season they had, and when they've had some more time to reflect, I hope they realize that. One game does not define their legacy or their season. Sarah will bounce back next year and Azzi will shine in the W, of that I have no doubt.

I once saw a video that talked about why we put ourselves through being sports fans when more often than not the effect on us is net negative given how much losses hurt, but I would never trade it for anything. Getting to follow someone's journey like I have Azzi's will always be rewarding to me. She's the whole reason I love this sport and her resilience and perseverance has helped me immensely personally and I could never thank her enough for that. It might seem dark right now, but the sun will rise tomorrow and we keep going. #35, what a privilege it was to watch your UConn journey, and trust I will be there for every second of it.
