Since āpoll bracketsā seem to be a thing on this site now, how about we turn it into a reminiscence, or maybe a history lesson? Iāve collected a group of iconic events/posts/eras in tumblr history, from the sites early days up to the present. I couldnāt get all of them, obviously, but I think I have a good mix of iconic things as well as things that not everyone on the site knows about, especially newer people. I will preface this by saying that I myself may not be a tumblr veteran (Iāve been here since December of 2015, take that as you will.) but Iāve done research (research being watching several Izzzyzzz, Sarah Z and @strange-aeons videos on tumblr history) and I think I did an okay job. Iāll host a series of polls every day(ish) for each round, as seen in the image above, until we determine the winner. All of these have been randomized, but from round 2 and beyond it will follow the bracket. This is being run by a single human (me) so I ask that you please be patient if I end up fucking something up.
