Interview with Indie Hip Hop artist Soliarii

Where did you get the name Soliarii or what does it mean? Soliarii , for me means struggle. Like the composer Antonio Salieri ,God has blessed me with the talent and an ear for music like so many others, yet it's taken a long time and a lot of struggle for me to express myself. For this reason I titled my debut album 'Late Bloomer'.

Where are you from? I grew up in South Central Los Angeles, California . Now that I am older I am working on moving towards the East Coast.

When did you start making music? I've been creating imusic for the past 21 years. I can only say I have been considered professional for this past year and a half.

How has your music evolved? I have grown and spiritually and so has my music. I am finally in a place in my life where I am not afraid to be me and my music is a reflection of me.

What or who inspire you? God, my kids, success and my hopes to excel at all three of them.

What's your favorite album of all time? I would have to say , Ice Cube Amerikkkas Most Wanted.

Do you think Hip Hop is dead? Hip hop is not dead but the concepts sure is and certain other aspects of today's hip hop needs to die that's for sure.

What are your thoughts on the current state of the game? To much to mention I. This article but I'll tell you this one thing that need to change is attitude and egos. I think you and many others know what I mean.

Where do you see yourself in the next five years in the Industry? Hopefully paid, retired and remembered.
