GoM's reaction to when their little kids wouldn't let them go to work/cry when they go to work?
ヘ(゚∀゚*)ノ thank you for requesting! sorry it took longer than expected to complete these and to those who sent in their requests, I am working on them! ^^
KUROKOwouldbe a little bit flustered and surprised. Truth be told, due to hiscareer as a national basketball player, he is rarely ever home longenough to spend a huge amount of time with his kids, causing thetwins to be more attached to his wife. He looks at his wife, eyespleading for help and his wife merely chuckles as she presses herlips on the top of his head.
Thetwins would make grabby hands at him whenever he tries to take a stepforward and just like how he could not leave Nigou behind all thoseyears ago, his footsteps falter and that moment of hesitation wasenough for both of the twins to latch on to his legs, gigglingloudly. Kurokoglancesat the clock – he has a practice match and he needs at least 20minutes to get there and warm up – and looks at the twins that werestill chatting mindlessly, still holding on to his legs. He mullsover skipping practice today but he also remembers that he has a veryimportant meeting he needed to go to right afterwards.
Perhapsit must have been the slight distress and torn look on his face(because his wife is definitely enjoying the view for she would notstop giggling every now and then as she takes a video of the entirething), his wife finally took pity on him. She managed to get thetwins to hang on to her instead (Kurokothinks they need to fix the twins’ habits of hanging on to theirlegs) and Kurokoreaches forward to wrap his arms around his wife, lovingly. “Ipromise I will take tomorrow and the day after off, so please waituntil then.” He stated firmly to his wife who kisses his cheek inreturn and he crouches in front of the twins, pushing their blue hairout of their eyes and kissing their forehead.
Themoment his little girl starts wailing loudly when she sees himkissing and saying goodbye to his wife at the door, that’s whenKISE's resolve about heading to work crumble in to pieces inthe blink of an eye. He would rush towards his daughter, eyes tearingup at how heartbreaking his daughter's wails was. Kise wouldtry to compromise with his daughter because the photo shoot thatneeds to be done today had been postponed once already and he reallycannot lose this deal! But after failing to reach an agreement, because let’s face it, Kise's daughter has him wrappedaround her dainty little fingers and Kise would turn to lookat his wife, tears tempting to fall down as he hugs his daughtercloser to him, rubbing her back.
“Ryouta-kun,how about we go and visit you later during lunch?” His wife wouldask him as she pulled their daughter away from Kise, soothingthe young one and promising that they would visit Kise duringlunch.
Kisebeams at the suggestion and nods his head. “That’s a wonderfulidea! I’ll tell my manager to make sure the rest of the week is freeso we can go on a short vacation too – maybe we can even go toOkinawa!”
MIDORIMApushes his glasses back to its place as he (tries to) stare down atthe exact mini-copy of him. His son attempts to follow his every move(he lacks the glasses though) and puts his chubby little arms at hiships, trying to appear intimidating. Midorimasubtly glances at his wife who was standing not too far from wherethe two of them were standing, leaning against the wall, looking atthe two of them with mirth. (He can feel a vein throbbing). Midorimaclears his throat and tries to walk towards the door, only to havehis son appear in front of the door, hands out to stop him.
“No!”
“No,no. no, no!”
Midorimawould be slightly taken aback at the first word that his son has eversaid and judging from the gasp that he heard from his wife, she istoo. Midorimaexchanges a glance with his wife and she is already walking towardsthem. He looks away from her approaching figure and looks at hiswatch – that appointment can be rescheduled to tomorrow – at thismoment, his son is much more important.
“OhaAsa did say we would have the best of the best things happening to ustoday.”
AOMINEyawns as he places the warmcup of coffee on the counter. He looks at the clock and sighs – heneeds to head in for his shift now. The past few days had been busyand Aomine can’t waitfor his long weekend break – he needs some quality time with hisfamily. He misses sleeping with his wife and waking up to his son’sendless chatters. He sighs when he catches sight of the clock again –he should really leave now.
AsAomine heads over tothe front door, he freezes when he catches sight of his son sittingnear the sofa, a blanket wrapped around his small body. “What areyou doing here?” He would quietly ask ass to not wake his wife –she has been having a hard time sleeping due to her pregnancy andAomine didn’t reallywant to piss off his wife this early in the morning.
Hisson jumps slightly, startled at the sound of his voice and he looksat Aomine, eyestearing up. “Don’t leave.” He mumbles but due to his sleepiness, his son’s voice sounded slurred and Aomine'sheart feels warm. His son's growing bigger and his wife is now fourmonths pregnant with their second baby – he really needs to stopworking so diligently for just a little bit.
“Youshould go back to bed,” Aomine statedas he sits down beside his son, reaching for his boots. His sonshakes his head.
“Don’tgo,” He sniffs.
Aominesighs inwardly before turning to his son, pecking his forehead andrubbing his back. “Why don’t you be the man of the house for a fewmore hours? I just need to check in with work – I promise I’ll beback before you know it.” He tries to compromise – perhaps beinghis wife has changed him, not necessarily in a bad way, but Aomineis still very bad at compromising.
Hisson seems to think about it before nodding his head slowly. BeforeAomine can let go ofhis son, his son sticks his pinky finger in front of his face andAomine's a little bitstartled before he laughs and links his own pinky finger with hisson. He presses multiple kisses on his son's face, causing the littleone to giggle. “Okay, you need to go to your room before your mumfinds out you're gone.”MURASAKIBARAwakes up with a start because of the wet and sloppy kisses he gets.He blinks a few times as he tries to push away the sleepiness but thewarmth surrounding his body is making it a little bit hard for him todo so. Murasakibaramanages to glance at the clock and he sighs – he really needs tohead to the bakery soon. He briefly recalls the order for the largepersonalized birthday cake and wonders if his workers managed to atleast make the base for the cake.
Murasakibarais taken out of his train of thoughts when his older son appears infront of his vision, the younger one holding on to his brother’shand, sucking on one thumb. He would smile at them and ruffle theirhairs lazily. He makes a move to leave the bed but both of his sonsclambered on the bed, latching themselves on to him.
“Canwe go with you to work? Please, please, please?” His eldest wouldbeg and he would subtly nudge the younger to do the same. Hisyoungest son would clasp his hands together (like how his brother hadtaught him!) and would try to say the words his brother had taughthim before but failing for he still hasn’t been able to talkproperly.
Murasakibaraalmost gave in to his sons’ request but before he could even answer, the arm that was around his waist tightened slightly and he turnedhis head to look at his wife who was shaking her head slightly. “Youneed to finish that cake and you also have 17 orders for macaron andmacaroons that needs to be done by tomorrow.”
Uponhearing that, the eldest would tear up and seeing the eldest tearingup, the youngest would begin to cry. This results in the eldest tocry too and Murasakibarafrownsat his kids and his wife before pulling all of them in to his arms, squeezing them together. “We can all go to work together then.”
AKASHIis surprised when he notices the front door locked and he raises aneyebrow questioningly when he sees his wife who merely shruggedbefore pointing at his daughter who is sitting in front of the TV,watching a cartoon show with her little brother. “Dear, can youplease open the door for me. I can’t seem to find my car key.”
Hiswife chuckles and nods her head as she went to retrieve the keys intheir bedroom giving Akashithe chance to talk with his children. Akashiapproaches the two siblings and stands in front of them, looking downat them, only to have the same coloured irises as his staring back athim, gazes never wavering.
“We,”His daughter glances at her younger brother, “do not want you toleave.”
Akashisimply looks at them, motioning for them to continue.
“Youwere gone for more than a month last time you left for work.” Hisdaughter did not really pout but Akashicould hear the pout in her voice and as much as he wants to get madat them for possibly making him late for work (Akashi’snotreally late – he managed to change his own alarm clock thirtyminutes earlier) he cannot help but acknowledge how true hisdaughter’s words were. He had been going in and out of the countryfor a month and he managed to turn one of his office rooms in to asmall bedroom for the days when he could not bring himself to gohome.
“Whatdo you want me to do about it.”
Hisdaughter opens her mouth before looking at her younger brother. Theyounger Akashi looks at his father before getting off the sofa, reaching up to Akashi, silently asking him for a hug. Akashihides the smile (he has grown a little bit soft over the years) andlifts his son. His son wounds his arms around Akashi’sneckbefore whispering, “please stay with us for a while.”
Whenhis wife returns later, (Akashireminded himself to thank her for taking her time) she finds thethree of them sitting on the sofa, watching cartoon together –Akashisends his wife a small smile and she returns it whole-heartedly.
