I will say that, as the guy who has stared at the manga for years, the small detail that Kirishima, Sawamura and Ookubo look different in Kuwabara's flashback when Yuusuke is getting wrecked by Shinobu? I like that. That implies Kuwabara was getting his ass kicked for at least long enough for Ookubo to get chubby, Kirishima to wear his hair different AND Sawamura to buzz his own hair:

Always glad they changed Sawamura's reaction to Rei cause damn boy ur completely red in the face with a nose bleed 😭

I wouldn't have minded some blushing like Kuramochi's (he's a teen boy I'd get it) but the manga reaction is so dramatic as hell. The anime changing it so he goes sheepish over his love for baseball instead made it cuter and more consistent with his character cause you'll never see him this boob crazy again. One off gag I suspect even TJ sensei doesn't wanna think about lmao.
