In my personal opinion I belive licorice cookie isn't like evil evil..like sure he's a "villain" but he's not like want to destroy the world evil like the other cookies of darkness (or as he thinks) he just wants to be recognized not hated..and he sure as hell doesn't wanna hurt those kids..I believe that's what could cause a change in heart

Oh! For sure! Licorice Cookie doesn’t directly come off as a straight up evil tyrant or deceiver, despite his efforts. He’s rather clumsy and trying to impress Dark Enchantress, assuming she’s the one who took him under her wing, and he craves her approval. He reminds me of a cartoony villain, if that makes sense? Maybe he will get redeemed, but he hasn’t been mentioned in the newer stories lately, but it’s likely between him or Red Velvet
