GOD the more i think about mary’s death the more that i’m so devastated by it like. all of them were literally just KIDS they were MIDDLE SCHOOLERS but mary literally FELL TO HER DEATH without any of her friends there for her. thinking about the fact that she must’ve been so scared and so alone. about how she probably thinks that her mom hates her and that she’s the reason her parents Will Still Be Divorced because of what she did.

do you ever think about the fact that mary didn’t even know that that wasn’t her mom anymore. do you ever think about mary still believing that there was still some part of her mom that’s There and believed that her mom was gonna save her, like she always did.

SMOSH VS ALIENS SPOILERS

okay sorry for jumping on the marykenzie train literally 10 hours after the finale released but. There are so many ways you could interpret the scene where “mackenzie” (alien mackenzie) comes out of the tube on the ship because the first thing she does is she looks at mary and goes “mary... mary. i like you.” and you obviously could interpret this as “mackenzie” getting her bearings or pretending to be disoriented, but at that age, “i like you” is pretty much a confession of feelings, and we know this alien was using mackenzie’s memories to fuck with/blend in with the others, so it could very possibly be that this alien was casually confessing something to mary that mackenzie was unable to say while she was alive - her feelings for mary. and this was our first clue that something was wrong with mackenzie, because mackenzie was usually guarded and secretive with her emotions and a casual confession of her feelings goes so against anything we have seen from her at this point. AND THE WORST PART IS LITERALLY. mary responds with a hopeful “okay?” LIKE ITS SO OBVIOUS SHE CARES ABOUT MACKENZIE WETHER OR NOT MARY RETURNS THE FEELINGS. and it’s like a glimpse into how the confession could have gone if it was actually mackenzie confessing 😭😭 but we never got to see how it could have been 😭😭😭
