okay figured i’d do an actual introduction post now.

hi everyone, i’m molly! i use she/they pronouns.

i’m into dropout, d20, smosh, brilliant minds, st denis medical, the pitt, mystery thrillers, ted lasso, and other things i’ll add when i think of them!

i’m trying to be more active and talkative to new people, so feel free to send me an ask or a dm about anything like a shared interest or like a question.

i write fanfic on ao3, which you can find here. it’s mostly dimension 20 stuff, but there’s some other stuff in there.

okay this one i had to think about for a while. ----

g - have you ever had an OTP? if so, do you remember your first one? who was in it?

i don't think i've ever really been dedicated to a ship to that extent, especially now that i'm more primarily identifying with the d20 fandom which is very easy and popular to multiship. i honestly go through phases with what i'm most into (whether it be ship or fandom) so i think that using the official definition of otp i'd have to say no, due to my jack of all trades tastes for fandoms and ships

l - say something genuinely nice about a character who isn’t one of your faves...

okay i'm sure i have characters i don't like, which i've made public information lol, but i can't think of many right now. i'm not really a fan of jackson whittemore (tbf it has been a while since i've seen the show, and i don't actually think i ever finished it) but i felt like he had good bones for a character, and just didn't get many good storylines. plus with how everything behind the scenes on that show worked and what i've heard about that, the chances of him being portrayed well in the plot were slim. intriguing character, and i do like seeing how people portray him in fics, but i do not love canon jackson. however, despite him not being one of my favorites, his backstory is so good and i really wish they wrote his actions better because he could have been a really good main member of the pack. (i can't ever remember if he really interacts with peter when peter is sane, but that could have been a dynamic to explore!)

tldr: jackson is such a interesting character in fanfics, despite canon giving us nothing! ty to my fandom forefathers and (genderneutral, of course) for giving us well written jackson (sorry if this makes no sense, it's four am)

Reasons People Aren't Watching Star Wars (the original trilogy) With Stiles

Scott: At first it was about not being much of a movie guy but at this point it's about the bit. It's enrichment for them.

Allison: She'll never ever mention this where it could get back to Scott but the idea of spending like 6+ hours listening to Stiles talk over these movies is not super appealing to her.

Lydia: As if she'd ever stoop to endure this blatantly sexist semi-incestuous half-assed whitewashing fantasy. Honestly, Stiles, a metal bikini? It's just a complete waste of time when she could be watching the cinematic brilliance that is The Notebook.

Jackson: Stiles sucks and so does Star Wars. He'd sooner watch The Notebook again. Or stick a fork in his eye.

Danny: He likes Star Wars but the last time he hung out with Stiles the guy exploited his freak cousin to make Danny so uncomfortable he'd commit crimes to escape. Pass.

i don't like to yuck people's yum but i have to say that my least favorite thing to come from the current state of Artists on the Internet is the idea of a sketchbook as something nice and pretty and shareable. like i love me a notebook full of gorgeous art don't get me wrong but that is NOT what a sketchbook is. a sketchbook is my friend who i carry around everywhere like a purse chihuahua. it is the physical manifestation of my notes app. it is the container into which i wring my brain out. it is my therapist. and most of all it is filled with absolutely terrible sketches that should never see the light of day.
