Hussie made an update for the Homestuck Kickstarter. For real this time! From what I read, this is the gist of it:

A bunch of new concept art, which I’m sure someone has already posted somewhere.

The game development is switching from the previous studio to WhatPumpkin.

The title of the game is Hiveswap.

There will be two games mean to be parallel stories. They will be released episodically, with an estimated four episodes per game.

As the name implies, the game involves two main characters who swap universes (a human stuck on Alternia and a troll stuck on Earth) who must find their way back to their respective homes.

The game will be loosely related to Homestuck canon. Hussie’s reason for this is that he is “anticipating that many people will stumble on to this game who have never even heard of HS.” It will not take place in an AU, it will be set somewhere in pre-2009. It is also not meant to be a “prequel” that somehow ties into the origins of Sburb.
