Its been a long time since I’ve logged in

Hi, to anyone still following this. I think its probably pretty obvious I don’t plan on posting my work here anymore.

I’ve grown a lot since I’ve been gone and working through a lot of things which contributed to my hiatus. The other half of it is a lot of my original work was plagiarized and it made me give up a lot on art. I had to recover for a pretty long time.

 I’m no longer posting work here since its been watched by people for a long time who like to use my work to boost their own. I hope one day I’ll find a way to share my work and stories again and when I do, I’ll update here for anyone who is still interested in it.

That’s the big update. I’m 29 now. This blog is really only remaining up for my own purposes. Eventually, I will update with a bigger detailed post about what happened re: Plagiarism but right now. I needed to put closure here for me. I’m doing okay. I’m only going to get better.

Don’t just accept the new Terms of Service

Tumblr’s at it again, thanks to the new European Privacy Laws. There’s probably nobody who will read this, but it pissed me off so much that I decided to make a post about it. (Ignore the weird language mish-mash, depending on your country the language might differ.)

OK, so many of us get this screen when we try to access our dash:

Realise how the ‘OK’ button is a nice, attention-grabbing blue? If you’re like me, you’re not exactly into reading a 100 pages document and tend to just click it.

My tip? DONT. Instead click on ‘Manage Options’ right next to it:

Still pretty harmless, right? That ‘Accept’ button is looking really attractive right now. Instead, click on Verwalten (Probably something like ‘Manage Options’ or something in english) and you’ll get to this page:

Now that’s not too bad, right? I just switched all the buttons to ‘off’, because I’m jealously guarding my personal information and don’t want Tumblr to go off and do who knows what with it. Looks like we’re done! But wait: There’s a SHOW option.

When we click on that one, what we will get is this:

A HUGE list with OVER 300 ENTRIES of companies that can use your data by default if you’d just clicked ‘OK’ on that very first page. Coincidence that this list is hidden that much? Me thinks not. They’re all switched on by default, but I am still a petty bitch that doesn’t want to give out her data, so I switched them all off. All 300+ of them. There is no option to switch them all off at once, and even if you disable all the options above, the companies are still switched on.

(If you wonder how i got that number, I copied the list into excel and looked at the cell number. No way am I actually counting all those entries)

I JUST NOW REALIZED that ko-fi donations are marked as business transactions in my paypal account, and that each of them comes with the person’s address and a little “ready to add shipping info” tag on them so i’m going through every time someone has kindly given me a couple dollars in the past. year? and marking them all as “order processed” so I don’t get in HUGE trouble for not putting shipping information on these “orders” WHY… ARE THEY PROCESSED THAT WAY… why aren’t they processed as DONATIONS?

A few folks have asked me to tell them how they can tell if this has happened, and how to fix it, so here’s a small guide! When you get money through ko-fi, and it shows up like this, then it’s come through as a payment, with the person’s shipping address attached.

To fix this, you click “Add tracking info” for every payment that has that. When you do, you’ll select “Order Processed / Service Rendered” which is the option that tells PayPal you aren’t shipping anything. 

When you do, the other boxes on that page will be greyed out, and you can save. The “print shipping label / add tracking info” tag will be gone on the transaction and you’ll be good to go!

Hey y’all! I’m sorry I haven’t updated in a while everything’s been super busy and a lil hectic ahah! I’m pretty short of funds right now and I need food and gas for me and my roommate. I’m still settin up everything on Commiss.io but I do have these SD commissions I can do pretty easy and fast! 

If you can’t spend enough for a commission then maybe try.. buying me a Kofi?

I’d appreciate any boosting you guys can do! I promise I’ll be back with content soon once I get my life more sorted out.

My partner @lukalanza keeps going on abt how keanu reeves in Constantine (2005) is like the same as Fox Mulder in looks and character and just keeps saying

And honestly not only is this a great crossover idea but I also love them very much.
