Silly Game Time: Who are two characters you really like from two stories you really enjoy (of any genre of any medium—novel, comic, movie, show, podcast, game, etc. including OCs if you like)? AND which of them is more likely to apologize for something that isn't their fault?

i dont think either of them are really the kind of person to be a people pleaser or anything but for this one id say nico, since he has such childhood trauma, he might default to apologizing (more ealier on in the books especially)

the new oddessy movie sorta sucked....

i know lotsa people have been saying it wasnt that good but heres my opinion ig

so jm a big fan of epic the musical, which is about the same story. its so much better than this movie. epic covers more of what happened (in less time might i add), its catchy and memorable. it does a fantastic job at what its doing.

the oddessy movie dident explain who the people were or what was happening at the start at all. you were just placed into the middle of a scene almost and had to figure out everything on your own. it would be fine for someone who already knows the story very well, but most people dont, and it was just really confusing for the first like 20-30 minutes. the fight scenes were pretty good and it shows a few things that epic doesnt cover from before epic the musical starts at, but the movie goes all around the place. i see what they were trying to do, but it did not work. i dont want to spoil the movie or musical or book to anyone who doesnt know it, but the movie missed a lot. main characters were not spoken of at all(polites) big plot points not there(wind bag, evil baby,fight with poisodon) and also it was really dark. like with the lighting. kinda hard to see smaller bits. my mom said it was kinda gross as well, which is not untrue. i didnt find it really that bad, but especially the part on circes island was really bad.

im exited for epic the musical when it gets a movie. i am hoping it will be a lot better than what nolan tried to do

btw, absolutely no disrespect to nolanor anyone that was in it or helped to make the movie. they tried really hard, and it did look nicely done.

alright... soo... what if we make... a new officalverse miniverse? but, specifically based on the game mafia. or werewolf. or flickr. someone has an account based off the roles of the game! and... ~roleplay~

end post. literally. the rest is just me explaining the party games if you ever want to play in real life with your friends and are too lazy to search things up. AAAND i guess it does give a little bit of lore?? not much though.

(HOWEVER, the rest of the post does contain the main roles of each game... which will probably be needed first before the side roles. so if you do want to roleplay, make sure you pick one of the listed roles first before clicking on the links to check out other minor roles!!)

for those of you guys who don't know what either of these games are, let me explain the basics. (if you are interested, go ahead and search some stuff up!)

each game has similar characteristics. the main gist is for the "good team" to eliminate the "bad team" before the "bad team" kills off the majority of the "good team." at the start of the game (when actually playing the party game version), everyone is given a role. you can't show your role to anyone, nor can you know anyone else's role. your role is either in the good team, the bad team, or (sometimes) somewhere in the middle/neutral.

in each game, there are "days" and "nights." each night, a player anonymously uses an action--whether that is killing, investigating, etc. or absolutely nothing... it depends on your role. each day consists of a voting round. if you're in the good team, you are trying to figure out who is on the bad team, and eliminate them all. if you are on the bad team, you must pretend that you are on the good team to avoid getting eliminated, OR press the blame on someone in the good team to get them voted off.

below, i have written the roles that are MOST COMMONLY SEEN in the game. there can be WAY more roles than this, it just depends on how many people are playing and what version you're playing.

in the game of MAFIA, there are just a couple of roles:

NARRATOR (game host/supervisor): you assign roles, narrate the game, and keep everyone anonymous from each other, slowly revealing the story as each night and day goes on.

MAFIA (bad team): each night, ya kill someone.

SHERIFF (good team): each night, you get to chose whoever you think the mafia is, and shoot them. you won't know if you chose the right option till day comes.

i was called he by multiple people today!! at the day camp im going to this week, at the end of the day a few of thr supervisors were talking (ones i didnt know) and i spoke a bit and they called me he :))) i did have my trans pin on my bag and it was fully visible but still happy

and then later i was talking to this other kid in my group and he couldnt tell if i was a boy or girl my brother who im not out to said im a girl but he left for a secondand the other kidtold me staight up i cant tell if your a boy or a girl and i said thank you and he said oh that makes ,e think your trans lollllll i didnt wanna like doxx myself or something but iwas totally resisting the urgeto just said like yep or something ahhhhhh but the kid i was talking to is in my group so i think i might just walk up to him tomorow and be like yup you were right but idk him that well so yeah
