My cousin regularly gets shamed for not shaving every day like her mom does by her mom so I decided to not shave all winter. It’s awesome! It seriously cuts my shower time in half. I took 45 minute to hour long showers before!

There really aren’t any benefit to shaving anyway. Women haven’t even been shaving that long as far as the history of shaving goes. It was all just capitalism at first and now it’s capitalism AND beauty standards.

I’ll shave in the summer due to personal preference but just keep in mind you don’t have to shave anything if you don’t want to or don’t like it. That goes for men and women! No body hair is gross, it’s 100% natural! Embrace it if you like it where it is and get rid of it if you don’t! You’re gorgeous either way.

i like body hair and I think it should be more normalized for people (women especially) to just leave their hair alone and let it be there. humans are animals. animals are supposed to have hair and exist the way they naturally do without shame or pressure to change their bodies just for cosmetics. we naturally have hair, we are supposed to have hair, and our hair serves a functional evolutionary purpose. it keeps us warm. it’s not very good at it but it helps. i want people to be natural and i want them to be comfortable and normal and just like their bodies the way they are. it’s stupid that we’re pressured to other ourselves from our bodies (natural hair = bad, unnatural baldness = good) and try so hard to reach an unattainable standard that NOBODY meets. nobody is naturally hairless. why do we even do that. ugh… nobody asked me but that’s just where i stand on it.
