okkkkk so friendly reminded that harry actually wrote from the dining table with the same chrods and the same soundtrack rhythm of the movie "brokeback mountain" (2005) and if you didnt knew, the movie is about two men that feel in love with each other in a heteronormative society, which caused problems, of course.

the whole movie is based on how the silence can be as powerful as the words.. the movie is just amazing, but the point is.. harry actually said that sometimes he gets inspiration for his songs through the movies, and i'm not even kidding, the whole "from the dining table" lyrics transmits the same fucking thing that the movie does.. if you dont believe me, i show you proof..

im not saying that harry after watching brokeback mountain wrote from the dining table, but harry did that. k bye.

Omg seriously this CAN’T only be a concidence. Maybe Harry didn’t write that just after watching the movie but possibly he had the lyrics/he knew what he wanted to talk about and he just found that film, watched and used the melody because he felt that the music from Brokeback mountain had a connection with his story so he used it. Also it’s kinda difficult to find out that if you don’t do your own research, so probably he just thought that not everyone would notice that so it wouldn’t be obvious, so it’s like a little hint or something that he left there for the clever fans.

literally this came out one day while my friend and i were watching the movie, when the music played we instantly looked at each other knowing what the other one was thinking.. so we looked on twitter and i think only one person apart from noticed this. it had us literally shook, so we made a thread on twitter explaining this, but it was not so controversial, and it really should be, i mean, this is a real fact and it´s actually so important!! thank you for reposting this love!
