When Grayson (Dracula) gets violent, it is usually to do with the fact that the people closest to him are being hurt, or obviously, when he is feeding. As portrayed with a butler of sorts called Renfield, he once saved him from a vampire slayer of whom suspected Grayson to be an immortal. Renfield was being tortured, so he ripped the heads from every person there to save him. They hold a brotherly relationship.
