Remember what I said about how Salem just brought back the sharp, intelligent, underdog-with-a-chip-on-her-shoulder Cinder from before Beacon, when she was powerless and bitter and more clever and cautious and manipulative for it?

Don’t think I didn’t notice that Cinder just brought back Midnight for the first time.

I’m still trying to parse whether Salem just miscalculated, or whether she did that on purpose, but….

Cinder may be fucked up, but she’s back, and she now counts Salem among her enemies. And NONE of us know for certain what that’s going to mean.
