Hey guys, lets try to signal boost the protests in Chile
There are fears there’s going to be a dictatorship again. Today the military and the police marched on students protesting rising metro prices and price of living, and apparently people have started disappearing again. I’m from the States, but we should do what we can to make sure people know about this
SI NO HAY PAN PARA EL POBRE NO HABRÁ PAZ PARA EL RICO!
IF THERE IS NO BREAD FOR THE POOR THERE WILL BE NO PEACE FOR THE RICH!
Horrible things happened to innocent people in Chile
October 18
“Sangre Latina es lo que necesita el mundo: roja, furiosa, adolescente.“
VAMOS GENTE!!!!
People also need to know that goverment here alway respond to the right to protest with excessive violence, the use of tear gas is so normal here that i didn't even know how uncommon was until an exchange student from the united state was terrified. And i swear those things are getting more toxic whenever a big thing happen.
Also some police were accused of torturing detainees just a few weeks ago, the police brutality has been incresing with the years, and yesterday(18/10/2019) they showed how violent they can get
Yes we can!
CHILE IS FIGHTING -part two-
Subway’s price it’s just the beginning, they always talk about Chile being a country with a good economy and one of the best in Latin America, but it has really been in exchange for the rights of many and a few have been enriched

there are notices of missing persons after being arrested
there are warnings of possible deaths

the students began to demonstrate for the right of their parents, who cannot do it for fear of being arrested, but we all know the cost for working-class families and even if they try to put us against each other, we all know who are the real ones responsible for this disaster, of stupid decisions that only seek to fill the pockets of some.
I really need to share this with everyone, police and military forces are oppressing and attacking citizens, specially students, for avoiding paying for transportation and for fighting against the government and its stupids laws. Those laws are making them spending way too much money for something that should be a right as it is transportation. Please reblog and add more information if you have any.
19 de octubre de 2019, el día en que Chile despertó
Please reblog everything you see about Chile!
Americans are not the only Tumblr users. My city and country is under MILITARY ON THE STREETS. YOU WILL NOT HEAR IT ON THE NEWS, PLEASE REBLOG EVERYTHING YOU SEE.
Chile is under pressure, we are rioting not only because the Transportation Raise. Please, PLEASE notice us. Move wherever you are, and if you can't, please reblog.
People are being hurt, injured, taken and missing (yes, at least 2 people are missing) and the police is not (and it will never be) by our side.
DON'T SCROLL, REBLOG PLEASE.
Santiago is burning.
La lucha sigue!
Oct 18th, 22:55pm a lot of metro stations have been burned as well as highway tags, cops control booths, etc... the most notable fire was at one of the offices of the electric utility company that holds the monopoly of electricity in our country
I know this site is very us/eu centered. But please, spread the world of what’s happening in Santiago, Chile.
Police brutality has peaked. The military is on the streets. People outside Santiago are starting to mobilize.
This isn’t a partisan issue. This is about our rights. About our living conditions.
This December, COP25 will take place in Santiago. It will be one of the most important meetings for the future of the world.
Santiago is burning. The incompetence of our leaders has and will be shown to the world.
You know, another sad thing about this all is the look older people got as they saw armed soldiers out on the streets... the government promised them 30 years ago that this would never happen again and yet here we are.
