the other night i got **** and watched midsommar for like the 7th (?) time and something that really struck me on this viewing is like.....despite her grief dani is such a warm and kind person in all her interactions......she gets so excited when simon and connie tell her they’re engaged and is so genuinely touched and complimentary when pelle gives her the drawing and she’s playful w the other hårga women...........I caught her doing a little shimmy shimmy dance 2 the music when they are sitting in the grass after they first arrive to the cult......Also the imdb trivia that comes up during the movie says she’s from MINNESOTA. she’s literally just a Sweet Midwestern Gal. i’m crying
