            Jack  had  spent  around  three  weeks  with    ‘    THE  OTHERS    ’    &    specifically  Juliet.    They  had  grown  CLOSE  during  that  time    &    he  respected  her  ;    he  TRUSTED  her.    When  they  arrived  back  at  the  beach  after  the  GASSING,    he  felt  the  eyes  burning  into  his  skin  as  he  stood  UP  for  Juliet    &    fought  for  her  right  to  stay  with  THEM.    Though  Jack  knew  it  was  the  RIGHT  thing  to  do  ultimately,    it  wasn’t  the  RIGHT  thing  to  do  in  terms  of  being  TRUSTED  as  their  leader.
