imagine middle aged toji. you ask him if he has tiktok or instagram and hes like, "the hells an instagram?". so you download instagram on his phone, make him an account, and next thing you know hes slumped on the couch guffawing at funny fail video compliationsđđđđ
he has no profile picture for months because he didnt know it could be customized. you tell him he can change it, and hes making his profile pic a picture of you + megumi together.
he saves videos and then forgets how to find them all the timeđđ
he follows twelve people. one of them is you and the other eleven is just meme pages
his username is "ilovemywifeandkids"
a/n: BYE this came to me at work.

summary: megumi has a friend!
Both Tsumiki and Megumi had been picked up from school and given a bath, their hair still wet as they sat quietly at the kitchen island, working on their homework while you prepared dinner. You placed berries in front of them and pressed a kiss to their cheeks.
âThank you mommy,â Tsumiki said kindly.
âDo you need any help?â you asked. Megumi shifted slightly in his seat that was his way of asking. You moved closer, leaning down beside him.
âWhich one, baby?â you murmured. He pointed at a problem, struggling with addition.
âStart by adding these,â you said, pointing at the numbers, âThen move on to these.â He followed along carefully, and when he got it right, you smiled and kissed his cheek. âGood job, my smart boy.â He gave a shy little smile.
âYou can ask me too.â Tsumiki added. âIâm in third grade, youâre in first so I can do those.â
Megumi frowned slightly. âMommy is smarter, Tsumiki. And you donât explain it well.â
Tsumikiâs brows furrowed. âMaybe youâre just too stupid to understand.â she shot back, annoyed. The moment Megumi turned to look at you, you were already looking at them. âHey,â you said, your tone firm. âDonât talk to your brother like that, Tsumiki. We donât use that word in this house.â
âDad says it all the time, mommy,â she defended herself. You paused for a second, mentally cursing Toji.
âWell, your dad is a grown up and I warn him too, Sumi,â you said smoothly. Good save, you thought.
As you turned back to cooking, the front door opened quietly. Toji had come home without a sound. He winked at the kids and brought a finger to his lips, signaling them to stay quiet. Before you could notice, his arms wrapped around your waist from behind. âFuck!â you yelped, jumping slightly in surprise.
A low chuckle vibrated against your back. âMiss me?â he murmured, his voice warm, amused.
You exhaled sharply, placing a hand over your chest. âToji, what the hell-â you started, but he just laughed softly, resting his chin on your shoulder like he hadnât nearly given you a heart attack.
âLanguage,â he added casually, glancing at the kids.
Tsumiki and Megumi burst into laughter. âYes, mommy, language,â Tsumiki said, mocking her father also maybe you a little?
You let out a small laugh, turning your head just enough to press a quick kiss to Tojiâs lips. He chuckled against you. âYeah mommy, please,â he teased, leaning in to press quick kisses to your cheek, nose, jaw.
You laughed, pushing his face away lightly. He kissed your temple, completely unbothered. A second later, he let go of you and moved toward the kids instead. âNow what are my favorite kids doing?â he said, effortlessly lifting them up with his arms.
âDad, weâre the only kids you have!â Tsumiki laughed, her voice high as he lifted them into the air.
âYou think so, Tsumiki?â he said, raising a brow slightly. âYou sure about that?â
She laughed again, wrapping her arms around his neck, while Megumi quietly snuggled closer into him.
Toji just chuckled softly, a rare expression crossing his face as he pressed quick kisses all over their cheeks. âWe had a bath, daddy,â Tsumiki said proudly, informing him.
âYou did?â Toji hummed, leaning in to sniff dramatically. âThatâs why you smell like a princess, huh?â he added, tickling her sides until she burst into laughter.
He walked back over to you, pressing a quick kiss to your neck. âIâll take a quick shower, then weâll eat, hm?â You nodded, smiling softly.
The kids finished their homework, you set the table, and by the time Toji got out of the shower, everything was ready. Soon all of you were sitting together, eating.
Tsumiki talked the entire time; about her friends, the games they played, how her birthday was still two months away but how she wanted her party, which friend she definitely wasnât inviting, and everything in between.
Toji chuckled every now and then, nodding along, letting her ramble. You were just about to get up when-
âMommy can I say something?â Megumi asked suddenly, voice small. You turned to him, nodding quickly.
âOf course, Megumi.â
He hesitated for a second. âCan my friend Yuji come over tomorrow?â
Everything stopped.
Your head snapped up. âYour friend?â you repeated, your voice barely steady.
Megumi nodded. âWeâre in the same class, mommy. And he said he wants to come to my house.â
Your eyes filled instantly. For a moment, no words came out. You just stared at him.
âI-I of course, Megumi,â your voice broke.
He kept looking at you with those big eyes, confused, trying to understand your reaction.
âI just- I need to get something,â you said quickly, standing up. âFrom the bedroom, Iâll be back.â
Before the tears could fall, you walked out, fast. Leaving behind three confused faces at the table.
A few seconds passed. Toji cleared his throat lightly. âOkay,â he said, standing up. âFinish your plates. Iâll go check on mom.â He paused, then added, âYeah. Iâll help her in the bedroom.â
He walked down the hall and knocked softly on the bedroom door before stepping inside. âSweetheart?â he called gently. You were sitting on the edge of the bed, hands covering your face.
He moved closer, sitting down beside you. You pulled your hands away, your eyes still wet, but you were smiling.
âHe has a friend, Toji,â you said, your voice shaky with emotion. âA friend. And he wants to come to our house.â
Toji let out a quiet chuckle, leaning in to kiss you softly. âI told you itâd be fine, baby.â
You wrapped your arms around him, holding on a little tighter than usual, trying to calm yourself down. His hand came up to your back, tracing comforting circles.
âCome on,â he murmured. âTheyâre waiting.â You nodded.
He reached up, wiping your tears away with the back of his hand before standing, offering you a small, amused look.

The next day, you had been up since early morning.
Cleaning, cooking, checking everything twice.
âFor what?â Toji muttered from the couch, watching you move around for the hundred time. âIs the president coming over?â
You shot him a look. âMegumiâs friend is coming.â
âYeah,â he said, unimpressed. âA kidâ
You ignored him, fixing the already perfect pillows.
âKid is not even going to sit here.â He chuckled at you.
A knock came at the door. You locked eyes with Megumi.
Then slowly, Megumi walked to the door and opened it.
âHI!â the boy on the other side beamed, way too loud. He threw himself onto Megumi and gave him a big hug. âMEGUMIII!â he yelled in the hallway.
Toji burst into loud laughter.
this nothingburgerâŠ. just a midnight thoughts sorry also i literally have nothing in my mind pleaseeee send some requests đđđ thank you so so much for reading
(baby) megumi pantsing (dad) toji
: drabble
megumi was officially 10 months old, meaning he was in the stage of crawling & walking a few steps. which means he grabs onto anything sturdy enough to hold his weight to stand up.
and toji, the unfortunate victim to megumi's troubles, has found himself in a grocery store trying to find the right type of coffee you specifically needed. megumi found himself bored of the grocery cart and decided this was the perfect time to cry.
so there sat megumi crying his head off as toji sighed not ready of the 10th cry at 9am.
"okay, okay. i get it." toji sighed grabbing baby megumi by the armpits to settle him into tojis arms.
toji crouched down trying to find the flavor of your liking and letting go of megumi, letting him hold himself comfortably on the shelf.
grabbing a box that seemed familiar, he stood straight reading the ingredients and description, as he stood, he towered over megumi. the baby couldnt help but cry at the sudden shadow looming over him.
but toji was busying reading the ingredients he didn't noticed the baby wailing at the ground grasping on anything & everything.
which is when the baby grabs hold of tojis not so tight sweatpants to pull himself up and reach for "uppies".
tragedy struck, and revealed underneath tojis grey sweatpants, were shamefully, pink hellokitty boxers.
a joke present you got him for christmas, he had no choice since everything else was in the washing.
"what the fu-" toji yelled at the sudden coldness and immediately pulled his pants up, aswell as grabbing the small infant off of the ground. glaring at everyone in 5 meters distance, anyone who could have seen his boxers.
"your staying inside of the cart. im never going grocery shopping with you again you little bas-" toji was abruptly stopped by the ringtone and buzzing in his pocket.
my love đč
was the caller, "hi doll." toji replied going back to a calm voice, although he sounded calm he was screaming on the inside rushing to get as far away from this aisle as possible.
"you will never guess what your son did just now." toji scowled looking at the baby who happily enjoyed the speeding of the trolley.
a/n : rushed because i haven't posted in a while, sorry
mama's boy / t. fushiguro
baby!gumi is your velcro son and a mortal enemy of your husband, toji (he thinks his own son is stealing you from him)
the sun was barely peeking through the curtains of your apartment when the shift in weight happened.
toji felt it firstâthe telltale dip of the mattress and the soft patter-thump of small feet. he didn't open his eyes. goodness, he didn't need to. he knew exactly what was happening. beside him, you were still dead to the world, your hair fanned out across the pillow in a messy halo.
then came the intrusion.
a small, four-year-old body squeezed itself directly into the narrow gap between toji and you. but megumi wasnât interested in his fatherâs broad, scarred back. he moved with the precision of a tactical operative, crawling over tojiâs arm to plant himself firmly against your side, small hands immediately clutching the hem of your sleep shirt.
toji cracked one eye open, glancing over his shoulder. "oi brat, it's not even seven in the morning and you're already terrorizing me?â
megumi didn't even look at him. he just tucked his chin into your shoulder and let out a tiny, contented sigh. "you're blocking me from my mama.â
toji scoffed, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth despite the rejection. "she's mine first. i literally have her before you. now move over, youâre hogging the blankets."
"no," megumi whispered defiantly, closing his eyes and snuggling deeper into your warmth.
the sudden intrusion of a small body made you aware of your surroundings. and when you finally blinked awake, the first thing you felt was the heat of two very different fushiguros.
on your left, the heavy, solid wall of muscle that was toji. and on your right, the tiny, radiating furnace that was your cute son.
"morning, my pretty sleepyhead," toji grunted, propping himself up on an elbow. he reached over to brush a strand of hair from your face, his fingers lingering on your cheek. before he could lean in for a kiss, a small hand slapped right onto his mouth.
âwhat the fââ
"no," megumi pouted. he sat up, nearly falling over in his haste, and wrapped his arms around your chest in a fierce hug. "good morning, mama. i stayed awake for a hundred hours waiting for you to wake up."
"is that so?" you laughed, hugging him back and kissing the top of his spiky black hair. "a hundred hours? youâre so brave, gumi."
toji rolled his eyes, falling back onto his pillow. he couldn't believe his own son is depriving him from his own wife. "heâs been awake for ten minutes. and he kicked me twice in the ribs to get closer to you. youâre raising a monster."
"i'm raising a gentleman," you corrected, grinning as megumi beamed at the praise. âaren't you, gumi?â your son nodded enthusiastically.
the mama's boy energy didn't stop at the bedroom door. in the kitchen, it became a full-blown competition. toji was standing at the stove, shirtless and lethal-looking even while flipping pancakes, when you walked in. you stepped up behind him, sliding your arms around his waist. "smells good, ji"
he leaned back into your touch, dropping a quick, rough kiss on your forehead. "coffeeâs ready. don't let the kidâ"
"mama! look!" megumi shouted from the kitchen table. he was holding up a drawingâa very abstract, shaky crayon rendition of what appeared to be a tall person and a small person holding hands under a very large sun.
"itâs us at the park! just us!"
âis that me?â you smiled happily as you pointed at the tall figure with two strands of hair drawn in pink crayon.
megumi nodded as he pointed at the small figure next to yours. âthis me and this you.â
toji glanced over his shoulder, noticing there's only two people in his drawing. "where am i in the drawing?â
megumi squinted at the paper, then pointed to a tiny, barely visible grey speck in the far corner. "youâre at work so you can buy mama the flowers she likes."
â...â
âpfftâ!â
your laughter echoes the whole kitchen as you cover your mouth when you see the look on your husband's face. it was a mixture of offended and at the same time, pride. toji looked at you, urging you to say something but you're too busy laughing at your son's innocence. so in the end, toji just sighed and accepted his fate.
âthis bratâhe's definitely mine.â
â
after breakfast, you and your husband are currently inside your bedroom. you stood in front of your husband as you soothe the wrinkles on his freshly ironed shirt that you prepared the night before.
megumi was in the living room, watching his daily dose of his favorite showâpaw patrol, while holding his two dog plushies that he said were his âwatch buddies.â
âyou sure you'll be fine, ma?â toji mumbled under his breath as his hands were lazily tracing your waist.
âwe'll be okay, ji. besides, it's just two days and my parents are visiting tomorrow so we won't be really alone.â you replied.
toji has work that requires his full attention for two days. he's really worried about leaving his little family alone even in just a short period of time. although he wasn't really planning to accept this job, but after a careful talk with you, you managed to convince him since the pay is really good and it would greatly help to cover up the bills.
âcan't blame me. you know i don't like being away from you two. and even though that son of ours is my mortal enemy of your attention, i'm gonna miss that brat.â toji wore this uncharacteristically pout that you didnât miss to notice.
smiling, you leaned in and placed a kiss on his lips to smoothen out those frowns. âi know, baby. that's why you have to do the job well so you can go home and be with us soon.â
toji claimed your lips once again, pulling your body closer as the kiss escalated. âwill do,â he mumbled before kissing you once again.
you pat his chest to remind him to not succumb into desire as your son is literally downstairs and could barge in any minute to look for you. toji let out a groan and unclasped his lips from yours.
âcome on, you'll be late for work.â
as you walked downstairs, megumi was still indulging in his cartoon show like it was the best thing in the whole world. you just smiled at the sight of you as son as you marched towards the kitchen to double check the food you prepared for your husband.
âma, you saw my wallet?â toji asked as he emerged from the kitchen.
âi already put it in your bag.â you replied.
he nodded and went back to your shared bedroom to also double check the things he needed. after that, you've already finished checking his food and put it in his lunch bag. when things are already settled, you decide to check on your son once with some light snacks on your hand.
you took a seat beside your son on the sofa as you handed him a bowl of his favorite goldfish crackers. megumi briefly tore his gaze from the tv and thanked you with a kiss on your cheek before delving back to his show.
toji came out from the bedroom with his bag. he walked towards you to pull you up and kiss your lips. you're about to scold him because megumiâs literally beside you but your son was still stuck in his own world to care.
âone more kiss. the brat's busy, anyway.â toji smirked.
you rolled your eyes and kissed him again before walking him towards the door. âgumi! come here, baby. dada's off to work.â
âpause first, mama.â he pointed at the tv as he grabbed the remote and paused his show before walking towards you as you helped your husband wear his shoes.
âhere's your food, love.â you handed him the food you prepared earlier.
âthank you, babe.â
megumi looked at his father. toji seems to catch his stare as he crotch down at his level. âremember what we talked about yesterday?â
your son nodded. âprotect mama just like how meganind pretended to be a metroman to save the city and get a date with roxanne?â
âi was about to say how batman saves gotham city. but yeah, that too.â toji chuckled and ruffled his son's hair, much to his dismay.
toji turned towards you once again. "the brat's gonna think he finally won because he got all of your attention."
you threw him a look. "i know where this is going. you better not sayâ"
your husband cut you off with a wide and evil grin on his face. "you're gonna compensate me with kisses when i came back. i'm gonna show him that this would be the last time he won."
"âthat."
"what are you two talking about?" your son asked in confusion as he saw his father's grin and your sigh.
toji looked at his son.
"nunya."
megumi blinked at him. "nunya?"
"nunya business."
"..."
toji tilted his head backward as he let out the most notorious laugh you have ever heard. megumi's face was turning red as he glared at his father before holding your hand, seemingly seeking comfort.
you sighed once again and massaged your temple. "stop teasing him, toji."
your husband just smiled widely and before you knew it, he grabbed his suitcase and said, âi'm off now, ma. i love you.â toji leaned closer and placed a kiss on your lips.
"okay. take care, ji. i love you too.â you pull your husband into a brief hug before you watch him ruffle his son's hair again and was about to hug him too, but megumi just dodged him by hiding behind your legs. toji just laughed loudly, not minding his son's antics and just walking towards the garage. your husband pulled out from the garage and made sure to honk twice before driving off.
silence engulfed the whole house when you could feel a tug on the hem of your shirt. âmama, can you watch paw patrol with me?â
you grinned. âokay, baby.â
â
without tojiâs looming presence to compete with, the apartment transformed into megumiâs personal kingdomâand you were his favorite subject.
toji had left hours ago to work for two days and even left some cash on the nightstand despite your protest. the moment the front door clicked shut, the silent battle for your attention was officially won by default.
megumi has used up all of his screentime on television so he's now left with other entertainment such as his toys, the neighborhood kids, and of course, you.
though usually, megumi was a stoic child, mirroring his fatherâs brooding silence. but with toji gone, he became a tiny, talkative shadow. he didn't just follow you into the kitchenâhe stood directly on your feet, his small hands gripping your knees as you tried to navigate the fridge.
"mama, can we have the blue bowls? the ones dada says are too small?"
"the ones for snacks?" you asked, looking down at the mess of black hair at your waist. "for lunch?"
"yes," he nodded solemnly. "because dada isn't here to say 'eat like a man.'"
you chuckled, hoisting him up onto the counterâa move toji usually grumbled about because of "safety," though the man literally jumped off buildings for a living. megumi sat there like a little gargoyle, watching your every move with wide, adoring eyes.
"you're very pretty today, mama," he mumbled suddenly, reaching out to pat your cheek with his small hand.
"oh? even with my messy hair?" you grinned softly as you caressed his spiky black hair.
megumi nodded. "mhm. you look like a princess. not the kind that needs saving," he added, his voice taking on that surprisingly mature toji-esque grit. "i'll save you if a sea monster comes and try to eat you. but you're really pretty, mama.â
âthank you, my love.â
â
the afternoon was spent in what megumi called "the great fort." without toji there to complain about the "structural integrity" of the couch cushions, you and megumi dismantled the living room.
he was incredibly focused, insisting that your side of the blanket fort be lined with the softest pillows. every time you tried to get up to fold laundry or check your phone, a small hand would shoot out and grab your wrist.
"please mama stay," he commanded, though his eyes were pleading. "the guards are sleeping. you have to stay in the castle."
"megumi, i just need to put the towels in the dryer."
"no. the towels are fine. i'll get them later," he insisted, despite the fact that he couldn't even reach the dryer door. he crawled into your lap, tucking his head under your chin. "just mama and gumi. no daddy, no work."
you let out a sigh in defeat and surrender at your son's pleading. âokay, mama won't go.â
you smoothed down his hair, marveling at how much he looked like toji but acted like your soulâs twin. he was definitely a mama's boy in the purest senseâhe didn't want toys or tv. he just wanted to be in your orbit.
â
as night fell, the apartment felt a little too quiet without tojiâs heavy footsteps. megumi felt it too. he was clingier than usual during his bath, insisting you stay in the room and talk to him about "when he was a baby."
when it was finally time for bed, he didn't even look at his own room. he marched straight to the master bedroom and climbed onto tojiâs side of the bed.
"iâm sleeping here," he announced, pulling the heavy duvet up to his nose. "i'm gonna protect the house.
you chuckled as you scoop his little body closer to you. "really? not because you want to be near me?"
he paused, his dark lashes fluttering as he looked at your spot on the bed. "both. but mostly the protecting part."
you climbed in beside him, and he immediately scrambled over, abandoning "his" side to latch onto your arm. he was like a little barnacle.
"mama?"
"yes, gumi?"
â...i miss dada.â
your heart swells. megumi isn't a type of child who would openly admit something so vulnerable. and even though he and his father would bicker about who deserves more attention from you, megumi loves his dad with all his heart.
âi know, my love. me too,â you placed a kiss on his forehead as he clung onto you.
âcan we call dada tomorrow?â megumi mumbled.
you nodded. âof course. dada would be really happy to see you.â you boop his nose.
your son let out a giggle before settling more comfortably in your arms. "when dada comes back...can we tell him the sea monster came and i fought it and i won?"
"sure, honey."
"and can we tell him you liked my drawing better than his muscles?"
you bit back a laugh, kissing his forehead once again. "i think that might hurt his feelings, don't you think?"
megumi sighed, a long, dramatic sound that he definitely picked up from you. "okay. we won't tell him. it's our secret now."
he fell asleep within minutes, his small fingers still hooked into the fabric of your sleeve, a faint, victorious smile on his face. he had you all to himself, and in the world of megumi fushiguro, that was the ultimate win.
