YAPPING ABOUT THE BIOMES OF THE TOKAROKA SUBCONTINENT!!!

Hey! I Updated the Tokai Federation state map and did an unreasonable ammount of yapping about the biomes and population centers. Here's allat.

- Roka Island is known for volcanos and deserts with lush river societies inhabited by purple humans with glowing multicolored eyes (Zenosyne)

- Western and Northern Toka are known for rivers, lakes, jungles, and forests inhabited by sentient cyborg frogs and robots (Gerzonia, Gaialaya, Friedrich, Suvice)

(Former Tokai Federation president Frogious Jones before his sick-ass robo suit got exploded by the current Tokai regime)

- Central Toka is known for bogs to the west inhabited by sentient frog tribes (Begonia) and grasslands to the south and east (Ichicania and Rabu)

(Frog complete with sense of self and appetite for entrepreneurism)

- Western Toka (Cohania and Nestov and the East coast of Rabu) is known for its arid pine forests, foothills, and mountains inhabited by shapeshifter tribes of pure light and pure dark known as Pookas

(My two favorite pookas, Chantonsy Powitzer and Noelani Powitzer) (Yes they are cousins) (Yes Chantonsy chose to have that head shape)

- And also, theres random pockets of humans, Ripierian rutherish, and whatnot scattered all over, with notable human populations in the sparse jungles of Simianburg, the fishing villiges of Athillia and North Gerzonia, and the great bay of eastern Halensbomb

The Tokai Hunter (Mark 2)

In the past, Tokai hunters were employed to guard exclusion zones in the heavy forests of central Tokai. Their sharped blades with an induction heated core were optimal for cutting through thick brush and tracking down those who strayed too close to Tokai secrets. The Mark 2 has that same function. In addition to more efficient spring compression systems on the limbs and spine, the Hunter Mark 2 possess a far greater intelligence with the advent of wartime inovation spilling over into the modern isolationist period. In addition to guarding exlusion zones, the new robot has also been seen patrolling residential streets and standihg idle in back alleys. The purpose of this change in behavior is still unknown.

The Gerzonian Hunter was one of the first robotic models designed by Gerzonia, a communist regime in western Tokai, over 50 years ago. Gerzonia has since been incorporated as one of the largest states of The Tokai Federation.

FUN FLOWER FACTS FROM TOKAI!

The Tokarokan isles are home to a vast array of flora and fauna. Here's a selection of some of the wild flowers that hold special significance to Tokai residents!

- The Tolus Den is a soft yet scraggly flower found in the swamps and marshes of the Western mainland. Thanks to its hydrophobic qualities and web like pattern on its gray Petals, It is believed in folklore to be the sleeping nests of giant spiders (though this has been proven scientifically inaccurate). What isn't inaccurate though is its well known use as an antidote to many poisons and venoms, such as the several species of snakes that call the swamps home. In fact, this may be where part of the myth comes from, as spiders and snakes are thought to be natural enemies in Tokai children's stories.

- The Noelani flower roughly translates to "mist of the heavens." It can be found in the Tokai highlands to the far East and is thought to bring divine luck to those who consume or wear the freshly picked flower. It is also surprisingly rich in nutrients with a slight fruity aroma, making it a favorable ingredient in modern Tokai fine dining thanks to modern shipping innovations.

- Much like the real world counterpart, vervain is a purple flower with several budding offshoots twoard its tip. On Earth, vervain is thought to be a purification herb that protects against evil spells and vampires. Though Ulinians may still believe in many of these properties, civilizations from Tokai have long seen vervain as a warning of dark forces. It's believed that if wild vervain grows outside one's house, it means they will soon encounter loss or illness. This only paints one side of the picture however. Vervain is still seen by many as a herb that protects the innocent from the wicked. Is it the herb that brings the tragedy, or is it the tragedy that the vervain is trying to protect you from? That is up to the storyteller to interpret.

Proposal on Nuclear Arms and Weapons of War

The Tokai Federation has issued a proposal on nuclear arms.

The federation asks for an increase on restrictions of new and existing nuclear supplies, with the key goal of completely eliminating nuclear stockpiles by the decade's end. Talks of limiting biological weapons have also been initiated.

"The key goal of this new age is to create as many barriers to war as possible in the hope of limiting future struggles for power. Each existing sphere of influence will have their interests maintained, and peace can finally filter into the wartorn nations that death calls home."

"The Divided Age"

An unprecedented tragedy has occurred. Long gone are the days of brutal war. It has, through unmistakle fire, come to light that through the smoke and flames of our arms, all that will remain of our nations is ash.

We reject that idea. This nation hopes to welcome a new age of peace accross Ulina. Our island will remain a beacon of prosperity for our beliefs. We can not ask the opponents of our world to do the same, lest every last person fall to the flames of their brothers and sisters.

We will welcome a new dawn. There will be no more world of war. There will be two worlds of peace. The safekeepers of Tokai, and the brutalists of Kanita and Ripierio bent on nuclear Holocaust. We will defend ourselves, but we will strive for Tokai alone, and beyond that, the world will have to learn our enlightened principles on their own. Blessed be Tokai. Blessed be our fallen!

The Gerzonic Times

The Tokai Federation has issued a formal request to the current Honeygoo regime. It has been brought to the attention of the federation that Honeygoo is currently harboring enemies of the Tokai government. The federation asks that the Honeygoo regime immediately searches for, detains, and deports the following persons:

1. Former President Frogious Jones

2. Former Vice President Ava Rounder

3. Domestic terrorists Chantonsy Powitzer of The North Pookan Tribe & Noelani Huit of the South Pookan Tribe

The Gerzonic Times July, 2057

The Tokai Federation has announced the closure of both air and sea borders for current citizens and immigrants. In order to leave or enter the country, one must now file a permit with the department of transportation. According to the Vundabar administration, this move hopes to strengthen homeland security against terrorism and outside violence. The administration has also raised the bounty of Frogious Jones and his terrorist affiliates to around 10,000,000 Tokai Units.

Robbie: Our most valuable ally, Ikaroa Storinka... has surrendered Korlan-

Robbie: He will keep some of his influence, but the treaty will be on Vau'sena's Terms.

Vundabar: ...

Vundabar: Dismiss yourself.

Robbie: Y-yes sir.

Vundabar: As for you, Cheezebot, I believe it's getting late. Thank you for your time. You may leave now.

Cheezebot: We capture Frogious in no time!

[12] Korlan Lost (Part 1)

Cheezebot: Mr. Bestest President Sir, you wanted to speaking with Cheezebot?

Vundabar: Yes. Come here.

Vundabar: It has come to my attention that Frogious Jones and his rebel allies were spotted in Honeygoo. They fled from your ship, did they not?

Cheezebot: OH no Mr. President sir. They were sand tasters or sellers or something like that. No frogious there. Only big mustache and money. You like money, right sir?

Vundabar: The punishment for harboring terrorists is death, Cheezebot.

Cheezebot: MR PRESIDENT PLEASE NO CHEEZEBOT NO DO ANY-

Vundabar: Quiet. It was a simple misunderstanding is all. I understand completely. Frogious has only fled from one island to another. We have agents across the globe.

Vundabar: It won't be long before we track them down. The world is falling in line for the Allied Effective.

Cheezebot: Best day sir! Frogious will be in the biggest prison for lying about his big mustache and sand selling and eating!

Vundabar: Sure, prison. They will all go to "prison" very soon.

Robbie: My Kaiser, we have received a transmission.

Vundabar: Yes?

Robbie: Our most valuable ally, Ikaroa Storika... he has surrendered Korlan.

[11] Enter Cheezebot

Noelani: "Alright, have we got our disguises?"

Ava: "Mhm."

Frogious: "Yeah, but I don't know if they'll be effective-"

Chantonsy: Dont sweat the disguises. We've had surveillance on a number of cargo ships. Lets just say this ship has been... very helpful in getting our allies off this island.

Frogious: "Well that's vague"

Noelani: "You'll see."

Ava: "There's also the matter of getting on the ship"

Chantonsy: "Yes, well here's where we use out most powerful assest. Tiptoeing"

Ava: "Ah."

Chantonsy: Now that the hard part is out of the way, we just need to act natural while we wait for the ship to set sail."

Ava: "Wow. Theres a lot of silly sausages in these boxes."

Chantonsy: "Funnily enough, it's one of western Tokais main exports. You see, despite the cold war going on across Ulina, Honeygoo still needs its silly exports! And so the silly must flow-"

Frogious: "SHHHH!-"

Cheezebot: "HALT, WHO GOES THERE!?"

Noelani: "(faint whisper) this is the fun part..."

Cheezebot: BE YE INTRUDERS???

Chantonsy: OH!!! My good man, do you not see our luxurious mustaches??? We are but the cream of the crop. President Vundabar has sent us as sand inspectors to visit the massive grains of Honeygoo!"

Cheezebot: "Oh. How ignorant of me. Ye be fine inspectors. Let me know if you see any intruders, especially the terrible Frogious Jones or his terrorist allies."

Ava: "Pffft-"

Noelani: Certainly my good sir!

Cheezebot: Cheezebot sends his bestest wishes.

Frogious: "What in the name of Gouda was that goober?"

Noelani: "That's Cheezebot. He believes that anyone with a mustache must be on sand inspection duty. He has singlehandedly let us cheese our way out of Vundabar's tokaroka for the last month"

Frogious: "What a guy"

Chantonsy: "No Frogious, what a cheese."

[The ship sputters into motion]

Ava: "I guess this means our journey begins. I hope you like vacations. Its gonna be a long time before we see home again."

Frogious: "If traveling the world means a future without Vundabar, then I'd travel to hell and back."

Noelani: "If by hell you mean the goofster capital of the world, then yeah. We're right on course."

"To honeygoo we go."

Ava: "...Chantonsy. How do you suppose we get to this super secret friend of yours? We're surrounded by patrol bots all along the coast."

Ava: "And even then, we have to travel all the way to Haravenia without being discovered!"

Chantonsy: "Well... the robots are only patrolling for unauthorized boats... meaning that they'll let a cargo ship pass unimpeded!"

Chantonsy: "And after we sail to Honeygoo..."

"It's just a matter of catching a plane using the IDs we've fabricated."

Frogious: "But what if were spotted?" Cargo Ships have a lot of staff you know."

Noelani: "Don't worry. We have been cooking up some prime disguises."

Ava: "Ah, great to hear..."

Ava: "And Chantonsy. My guy. Please wear a watch. Baking cookies shouldnt take 2 days."

Chantonsy: "Noted! I promise the toaster is now a bread only zone."

Ava: "Great? Let's get ready for tonight."

"Doctor Vundabar"

"...You know, if it weren't for the rest of the Gerzonian High council, you'd be dead and buried decades ago."

"HA! Still the same in your old age. Not a hint of clarity."

"We are done here."

"Just one moment. You must have patience, doctor. That is, unless your running short on... time? Oh ho ho!"

"Isn't it obvious? I like to watch you decay. Your exile has grown on me. I wanted you dead for years after what you did to those tests subjects, to my..."

"Your what? Daughter? She was a prisoner of the state, Vervain. The council asked and I did as instr-"

"I wanted to see you rot ONE LAST TIME! Watch you decay over these last decades. Us Pooka, we live hundreds of years. Humans like you... SO fragile... it's comical. After your eyes will close, I will live on and on until I've built this continent in my image... without you ever again festering in my life."

"We will both meet again in hell. Those experiments, the machines, your complicity in it all until your precious angel... until Ava..."

The History of D. Vundabar

● Dietmar Vundabar (b. ~1950) becomes a prodigy in robotics (1960s).

● Aquires an internship at a government robotics facility.

Becomes head of the facility sometime in the 80s.

● Gets ousted for highly unethical experimentation (beyond the usual Gerzonian cruelty) in the 2000s.

● Goes into hiding while the memory of his actions fade...

● Fearing the end of his life and the hell he created, he escapes death by implanting his brain into a robot body (2030s).

● Pretends to be one of Dietmars creations named 'Donny' following his alleged death.

● Works with Frogious to take down the communist government (2040s)

● Becomes president (2050).

● Mental instability and paranoia following assasination attempt (2052).

● Further mental decline due to age and the meddling of the infective spirit Gerzon (2054).
