thinking about comphet(?) darutaku. honestly I think its insane if takumi is the first man shes ever felt comfortable around and so darumi thinks that must mean that she loves him/that she has to seduce him to keep him with her. and takumi of course is under the impression that darumi is someone who he needs to protect, someone who has never had anybody protect her, so he has to stay by her side no matter what to continue being that "good man" for her. underneath it all they want to be normal, takumi idolizes normalcy and darumi wants to be "normal" (well, normal-er, as a means of escaping from how much hurt shes had to deal with already, she knows there are things to like about her deep down but shes intentionally buried them to make herself "weirder" and "less likable" so no one will feel bad when she dies, if she was genuine about her weirdo crazy girl mask then she wouldn't try to hide her more likable traits). its just some very interesting self imposed suffering because of amato + hetero normativity... they feel comfortable around each other/safe around each other and they are a boy and a girl so of course that means they must get together...
