Cindy Sherman

Cindy sherman is a photographer who dresses herself and others up to imitate different periods of time and different versions of herself. She mirrors other periods of time by dressing up and doing her makeup to imitate that time, she then takes a photo of herself. She normally works with herself as the canvas. I find her work interesting because she communicates time periods and classes through her work, she dresses us as both upper and lower class and represents them accurately through her work. Her work can be very enchanting in the way she presents herself and how different she looks in each self portrait.
