I said I’d doodle Swan (nightwatch swap dream)

He’s odd, probably my favourite. Before Dream was outcasted from the church he had an important role in training other creationists in magic

Essentially those monsters/humans were supposed to function somewhat as a military- it went through the church because in order to protect the Omegatimeline you needed to watch the outside voids which are very magical God exposed spaces.

Anyways that’s were dream has this uniform from- after he was outed as a heretic he was forcibly resigned from that job but he has a fondness to it.

Swaann he’s cool. He’s quite focused on his current new religion- he worships a different god to dream (the host) typically. He’s not an “evil alter” just a really freaky one I guess? He’s has the same fear of harming palette as every other part of Dream does, it’s just he copes with it by trying to teach him to be incredibly strong and magically proficient.

Infact it’s totally possible swan is one of the closest alters to palette. Both Owl and Swan mostly parent but you can tell in palette that pal has adopted a lot of Swans personality and demeanour.

They even have their hats matching if you look close- palette designed his hat after Swans because he really looks up to his father in those one on one training sessions…

He’s also more similar to Atrophy in personality than any other Alter- potentially because those two have the same reactions to trauma.

Fresh is also canonically scared of Swan- not that he knows it’s DID it’s just he thinks Dream goes freak mode occasionally and Swans infamous crime against a God is just intimidating to Fresh. So he keeps his distance

But yeah he rarely wears his orange heavy jacket unless he wants to show off his medals. Sometimes he just pins his medals to his skin so he can avoid being dragged down by the jacket. He likes being shirtless because it’s easy access for rituals (and he thinks it makes him look good)

Blah blah blah…. There you go- I hope the maybe 1 swan fan enjoys this

Oh and wait he can change his eye color because he uses a creationist spell to do it- it’s just soul reflection where you summon the essence of your soul into your own eyes. It’s only a spell used in special ceremonies but he thinks it makes him look cool. For the hightened creationist like Ink the spell is actually compulsive which is why his eyes are like that.. but swan just chooses to do that

I honestly can see it specifically working with Swan (swap dream alter) and Psych

I’ve been talking about swan lately but he has that loud personality that Psychs attracted too- AND swan is already a big big fan of psych. That’s too much spoilers but he’d 100% get psychs name tattooed onto him. (I mean they basically have that already)

Psychs into Freaks too much. Dating freak alters only tsk tsk you can’t do that psych

After this realization I’ve come to the conclusion Peam must be stopped at all costs- it’s too fucking stupid

I wanted to include owl theme bcs, again, in og lore she was cursed to turn into an owl beased yes i was inspired by owl house no im not ashamed leave me alone. Shes sort of ashamed of it cause yknow, dream is afraid of owls and stuff. Theres a lot of meaning in there. Owls are known night animals, and being DREAM'S "shield", its kinda uuhhhm whats rhe word? Counterdictive? Idk. She also has a moth motif bcs they like light, go figure meow. She has a lot of issues lol. She sees Dream more as a god than a brother, and herself as shield, but Dream doesnt really appreciate that lol.
