I’ve had this in my drafts for years, and every time I scroll past it it floors me.

Like, not to be that person, but look how fucking fond he is in that last gif. Watch the video and listen to his voice and dare to tell me you could find three more John&Paul moments more softly fond than this. I can’t think of any except the Day by Day interview?

Sure there’s lots of loud moments, where John flat out says he loves Paul, or laughs with him, or hugs him, or makes a brash innuendo. But I cannot think of a quieter, more lovely moment than John gently ribbing Paul about being a nuisance.

There’s no big show, no production, it’s almost as if it’s not for an audience. John just loves him, and expresses that how all good northern men do, through a joke.
