Caiyan smiled, yet she found it really odd. Little against all she was taught when she was younger. Could she really call princess of Wu only by her first name? It was funny how Sun Shangxiang preferred the lack of titles and Caiyan, who wasn’t that high in hierarchy - well, at times called princess by some soldiers of Wei - wasn’t that comfortable with not praising another with a title. Yet her lord at times also insisted her not to speak to him like an underling. 

"Shangxiang", she repeated. "I shall do as you wished, and I, I go greatly with just Wenji or Wen", she chuckled a little. The idea started to sound fun. Just like speaking with really close friends, like friend to friend in her childhood.  "I am actually pleased to meet someone with other kind hobbies, not everyone can be interested in pieces of paper. I sometimes envy how skilled people are with just their bodies or handling objects, what a strength a human can possess", she said. Being mentioned to remind her of someone caught her interest. She did have an idea who she might be referring, perhaps the lady who made even the flowers shame infront of her beauty… perhaps… speaking about sisters Caiyan was quite sure her guess had hit right. Many women Caiyan knew were sort of quiet and gentle but mostly women raised with firm hand to obey the idealism of noble woman she raised with. "Oh, really. Who might she be?" she asked anyway, looking at the red dressed tigress, placing her hands against her own lap as sign of humble. Caiyan however was very curious and willing to meet people of Wu, yet she little shamed some of the actions Wei had caused there, making the blue she was wearing feel like… more bothersome. She was proud of her country but in cases like that she also had to carry the mistakes Wei had done. So silly as it sounded. "I would be glad to meet people around, yet I hope my presence would be welcomed, I wonder how people would take me… but I do understand if someone wouldn’t want to speak with a person from Wei."

She listened to the maiden speak with a smile, nodding every now and then to indicate she was paying attention and occasionally humming in agreement. “I think I'll call you Wenji from now on, if that's fun! As for your point about your skills, I can understand. Well, I always wonder what it’s like to have the creativity and wits to write really nice songs or poems,” she mused, bringing a hand to her chin as she tilted her head. “But we can’t be good at everything. We just gotta pick what we like the most and try to get really good at that. Even if you’re not good with athletics, you’re quite good with music, and I’m sure you’re also good with words.” She lowered her hand to her hip and straightened her back confidently, as if to emphasize her point.

"Oh, you might have heard of her! She's called Daqiao," Shangxiang explained, watching Wenji's face for a reaction. The Two Qiaos were famed throughout the land; surely the musician had known of them. "She doesn't really enjoy heading out to battle, but she's capable of defending herself. On the other hand, her sister Xiaoqiao is so eager to head out to battle. She's got quite a lot of energy." The princess chuckled to herself at the sight, thinking about just how much the sisters contrasted and yet complemented each other, becoming unstoppable when they worked together. Her ears perked at the lady's last comments, and she furrowed her eyebrows as she folded her arms with a humph. "But you're so nice! You're way different from the rest of Wei's brute and brawny soldiers, you know? I'm sure that if you explain to others, they'd be willing to let you visit, even if you're connected with Wei."

"I needed to... take a break.." she sighed, stretching her back a bit. Yin was a bit tired from everything and coming to Wu helped her relax a bit. "My training can be tough, but it pays off..." she smiled a bit. "Training both mind and body is important."

"As for animals, I have three of them..I know how it is." she continued witha slight chuckles.

"Well of course. If you didn't go hard on yourself during training, then it really couldn't be called training, right?" She rolled her shoulders back, trying to get out the knots in her joints as she stretched her arms. "Man, I fell asleep really weirdly last night, and my whole upper body hurts," she groaned, slightly slumping her back in exhaustion. "So I don't really feel like training today. Otherwise, I'd be spending my day in the sparring grounds in the palace! Ahh, anyway. When you say you have three animals, do you mean like household pets, or creatures that are...bigger?"

"Well, I try to travel sometimes, but my brother always insists that I go out with some escort or something. This time I went out all on my own, and I seem to be doing just fine!" she explained, though her cheerful tone faded away when the man mentioned that snake-like being. The bastard just never would give up, would he? Yet every time they defeated him, he still came around and raised another army, returning stronger than he had been before. It was quite irritating, if not exhausting in the long run.

"Eh, that devil did do a lot of damage the last time he came. I hope that he just goes away for good," she muttered, rolling her eyes in exasperation. "Anyway, what kind of 'things' are you planning to see? That's not a very specific description, you know."

The raven haired woman was enjoying the breeze, having recovered from the past events. Some painful memories were carved into her mind, but she has chosen to move on. Upon hearing a voice of a young woman, she turned to the voice, a faint smile decorating her lips.

Before she could continue, though, her horse let out an impatient cry and the princess briefly turned her attention to her steed, lightly flicking it on the back. "Oh hush, you. You're normally less antsy than this, what's with you? Excuse me for a moment, miss." She quickly dismounted the horse and led the steed off of the road, where it immediately began grazing at the grass and chewing noisily. Tying it to a nearby tree, she then turned back to the woman on the road, her hands on her hips as she let out a sigh. "Sheesh, animals are so hard to take care of sometimes. What was I asking...oh yeah. You said you trained; do you mean you train for battle and all that? How come I haven't seen you in our armies, then?"

"Keep my nose clean?" Of all places, this lady had to ask about her nose! It wasn't even her face or her hair or something, just her nose! Shangxiang found it rather peculiar, and even a little amusing. "Well of course I do. It's not like I don't take baths often. When you're out on the battlefield and you don't really take a bath for a while, you feel really icky and gross! So I enjoy all the baths I can get while we're not away on a campaign or something."

Since summer had settled throughout the land and the weather had warmed considerably, more and more people were spending their time outside, perhaps picnicking with their families, engaging in outdoor sports, or just relaxing in the sun. Shangxiang was one of those who definitely enjoyed hanging outside and ventured outdoors often, which made her feel more free and independent to contrast her controlled life within the palace. This time, she'd gone off without her bodyguards or ladies-in-waiting, taking her favorite horse out for a ride and touring the countryside. She didn't want to attract a lot of attention today, and parading around the city would mean just the very opposite of what she wanted, so she headed away from the bustling urban life to the more rural areas, wandering aimlessly as she soaked in the fresh air of the day.

Suddenly her horse halted and stomped at the ground, snorting and shaking its head at something in front of it. Peering over the steed's ears, the princess spotted a blindfolded girl donning crimson clothing standing on the road, seeming to be a civilian of Wu. Pulling her horse's reins so that it would back off, she turned it to the side so that she could get a better look at the woman, her jade eyes blinking with surprise.

"Oh, I'm sorry miss! My horse gets easily agitated when things are blocking its path." She dipped her head, although with that blindfold over her eyes, Shangxiang was sure the woman couldn't see the gesture. "Can I help you with something, or are you just passing?"
