On Tuesdays we love Tommy

Hello again! I felt like the current pinned post doesn't have enough information, plus I decided on more details about this blog that wasn't included.

So! Tommy Tuesday will be a weekly event celebrating and loving on Tommy Kinard! It can literally just be a post saying how great Tommy is, it can be a whole drabble or fic, it can be a gifset of your favorite Tommy moments. As long as it's about Tommy and done in a respectful and loving way, it will be accepted onto the blog!

Each week of a month will have a prompt/theme to it: 1st Tuesday will be fluff, 2nd will be angst, 3rd will be hurt/comfort, and 4th will be shenanigans. However, you do NOT have to stick to these themes! If it's angst Tuesday and you're just not feeling it, that's fine. Themes are just for fun and added inspiration but not needed to celebrate Tommy.

I will also be starting, next week, Tommy Thursday. Tommy Thursday will be for NSFW posts. Again, even a simple "happy Tommy getting railed Thursday" will suffice but we'll have themes for that as well. 1st Thursday will be top!Tommy, 2nd will be bottom!Tommy, 3rd will be kinks, and 4th will be more of a free for all. Again, these themes do not have to be adhered to, it's just for a little added fun.

In order for me to see all your wonderful Tommy Tuesday (and Tommy Thursday) posts, please use the #tommy Tuesday and #tommy Thursday! You can also @ this blog but please also use the hashtags as sometimes Tumblr isn't the most reliable!

You do NOT have to post every week or on both days. This is meant to be a casual, loose event meant to celebrate Tommy. We aren't content factories and no one expects that from you. Don't feel bad about only posting for one Tommy Tuesday or Thursday and not any others.

Most of all, this is simply a blog meant to love and appreciate Tommy and to bring a little more fun and positivity into the fandom. Have a wonderful day everyone and I'll see y'all next Tommy Tuesday!!!

Im so thankful for all the help I've received so far

But my sister is getting.....increasingly more volatile. Plus she is moving her boyfriend, who i find incredibly unsettling and dont feel comfortable around at all. And not to mention, once her kids leave for their dad's, I have no doubt she's gonna get even crueler towards me.

They don’t talk anymore, not really. But sometimes, when Buck’s shift runs late, he tunes the radio to the air channels, just low enough to catch the familiar tone of a pilot calling in over LAFD dispatch. He tells himself it’s a habit. But the truth is, he’s listening for Tommy’s voice; that calm, steady cadence that used to anchor him in chaos.

And somewhere miles above the city, Tommy still keeps half an ear open on the same frequency, just in case he hears “118, firefighter Buckley, on scene.”

He never keys the mic. But he always stays on the line a few seconds longer than he needs to.

Today, Tommy is visiting the Hans to see baby Nash. Right now, he’s sleeping peacefully, nestled in Tommy’s strong arms. Tommy smooths his thumb through his downy hair and the baby smiles in his sleep. Tommy smiles back.

“This looks good on you, ya now?” Howie catches him unaware, leaning against the doorway of the nursery.

“What does?”

“This, you and a baby, all… soft!” Howie shrugs. “Suits you.”

Tommy smiles a bit self-deprecatingly. “Don’t know if I suit it, though.”

“You do, you deserve something like this.”

Nash borrows his little head into Tommy’s chest, as if agreeing.

“Hm,” Tommy hums, nodding almost imperceptibly.

Hello my friends

Sorry I missed last Tommy Tuesday, life has been lifeing. But I'm here and ready to celebrate our favourite pilot once more!!

The theme for this week will be: soft, to be interpreted as one wills. Once again, the theme is not mandatory and the only thing that is necessary is to be a post made with love and appreciation for Tommy.

Next week's prompt will be supernatural, once again to be interpreted as one wills.

Good morning, I conked out before I could make my post but! It's Tommy Tuesday!! The prompt for this week, like I mentioned, is growth. An alternate prompt can be October. Once again, these prompts are completely optional and you can participate just by posting a Tommy post with love in your heart.

Tommy never thought he would be able to have a day like this. As much as he wanted it, as much as he yearned for it, he never thought he was ever going to obtain this kind of very special day. To be frank, Tommy gave up on it years ago, accepting he would never get it. but something changed. Tommy started to become hopeful, and it terrified him, always thinking it would slip through his fingers like all things did. But then it didnt. his special day that he never thought he was going to have was going to happen tomorrow. Tommy still couldn’t believe it. It had of have been a dream.

"Hey," Evan smiled, running his fingers through Tommy’s hair, "Should I wake up early and start heading to the venue before you wake up tomorrow?"

Tommy shifted, head still on Evan's chest, looking up at him. "Why would you do that?"

"Well you know what they say," Evan chuckled, "It’s bad luck to see the groom before the wedding."

"Evan," Tommy huffed out a warm laugh, "No amount of bad luck can take me away from you. So stay. I'd rather wake up to your smile tomorrow than not."

"Alright, husband," Evan said, "I'll stay."

"Well, we're not husbands yet," Tommy nestled against Evan's chest, rubbing his cheeks against the chest hair.

"We are in less than twenty four hours," Evan chuckled, "I think its okay to call you husband prematurely."

"Maybe you're right, husband," Tommy smiled.

It still didn't feel real. Tommy was finally going to have his wedding day. A day he never thought he would have. And yet it was just one goodnight’s sleep away.
