since i like to believe i know my girl better than most, i've managed to rent us a private boat for the day tomorrow, and we're going to go out and just enjoy the water all day, just the two of us. i paid a little extra to make sure i didn't need a captain, so it'll really just be the two of us, so we can get up to whatever we want to while we're on that boat too, just in case you're thinking about jumping me or anything like that. which, i'm all for, in case you were wondering. i'm so happy to be here with you in bora bora though, beautiful. i feel like i'm the luckiest man in the world to have the most beautiful girl on my arm here. i don't know what i did to deserve you, and i'm still wondering why you want to be with a man like me, but i'm so thankful for it. @lcighannepinny

knowing that he was going to have seven full days of getting to share a room with leigh-anne, made tom the happiest he'd felt in a very long time. there was just something about her that truly made tom's heart soar, she made him feel so good and there was no doubt that tom wanted something with leigh-anne, and part of him wondered if maybe they could take a more serious step with each other while on the cruise. though, he wasn't going to think about that right now, right now he was thinking about taking leigh-anne's gorgeous self to one of the pools and spending the afternoon there together. he made sure it was the pool that had the swim up bar there. even though he didn't drink, he wanted to make sure that leigh-anne had access if she wanted something, plus he knew there were plenty of non-alcoholic options for him too. he'd come out of the bathroom wearing his swim trunks with no shirt on, looking for his flip-flops to slide into before his eyes landed on leigh-anne in the room. his eyes roamed over every inch of her like he always did when she was wearing something he loved seeing her in, and his lips curled into a smile. that's alright, darling. i've been quite busy as well to be honest. life is life-ing. happy to live rent free in your mind though. you've certainly been on mine. oh yay, i will gladly steal your time while i can. yeah, i do have some festival shows coming up. i was going to ask if you'd like to come along with me. i have a couple shows this weekend - reading & leeds and manchester pride. i'd love to have you there, time to embrace that groupie life. i will say that a tour bus is not the most comfortable. i've got the big bed in the back though so a couple nights won't be too terrible. mighty hoopla malta is like a month away so got a bit before that one yet. don't feel bad, love. i've been swamped with doing promo and rehearsals plus my kids' birthday was the other day. i'll have more free time for you and those dates once i get through the weekend. you can tell me all about how your tournaments went. i want to hear everything. well i wasn't going to tease but now i'm tempted just 'cause you said that. okay, bridgerton. being courted and pursued with intention is actually so attractive though. people don't do it nearly as much anymore and it's a shame. words are lovely but it's the action to back it up for me.

it does make me feel better to hear that you were busy as well, that way i don't feel as bad, even if i still feel a little bad. but now you've got me for as long as you want me, so there's that. i'm glad that i went to your shows with you, which you did a brilliant job at—no surprise there. i like to believe i was a good groupie, right? did i pass the groupie test? even with the tour bus not being the most comfortable, as long as i get to sleep next to you and curl up with you, i'm content, love. just know that i'll be with you for any of your performances, though. no matter what, i'll make sure that i'm there to support you. did your kids end up having a good birthday party? i forgot to ask that, but i hope they did. and i'm always happy to talk about how my tournaments go, because i'm so proud to be a purple belt and get to compete at that level. which, sometimes it's still hard to believe i'm competing at that level, but it's all brilliant. i can't believe you just called me bridgerton, but i suppose it was called for since i did use the term courted. but i'm glad you love the idea of being courted, and i plan on doing that fully. well, i plan on continuing to do that fully, since i like to believe i've been doing a good job of it so far already. though i was thinking about taking you out at some point this week on a special date, what do you say? i'll plan a very romantic dinner and an even more romantic night after dinner.
