A headcanon that no one can convince me otherwise is that Simon is a boundary king. You establish/mention something and he never challenges it or treats it as something that you have to “get over” for the sake of ~personal growth~. You’d never have to explain or excuse yourself to him. And not only is this man the Boundary Respecter, he’s the number one Boundary Protector.

He may be the most outwardly emotionally constipated person you’ll meet, but you know he loves you when he’ll straight up go to war to make sure your autonomy is honored. (Because who’s going to argue with the 6’4, skull-masked weapon of a man when he tells someone to knock it off and leave you alone?)
