I always wear the same 3 pairs of shoes so why do I have 17

#Some pairs I've had since high school #And the blue Dr martens used to be my dream shoes #They were never in stock anywhere until one day I saw them in a store front 50% off #They're one size too big but I didn't care I still got them and wore them all the time for a few years #And I saw the white new rocks in store but couldn't afford them and istg I dreamed about those shoes for a whole year #Until I went back to the store an they were also 50% off so grabbed them immediatly ofc #Both of my demonias were gifts and I really need to start wearing the boots again #This pair. Classic new rocks and Dr martens were the 3 pairs I dreamed of having when I first started being interested in alt fashion #I still have my very first pair of dr martens in my closet #I can't wear them now because they're not rigid enough anymore to properly hold my feet #But I don't want to get rid of them #They hold too much emotional value

#Worst part is that I went through all of them and don't want to get rid of a single pair #They're all so pretty?????#Some of them I can actually start wearing again #I just need to remember that I have them #Because i have no object permanence #Some others I want to wear so badly but they're high heels and I have nowhere to wear them #But I can't get rid of them because they're so nice and I want to wear them again some day #And the rest are just 'normal looking shoes' that I keep in case I have to start looking like a normie again

I'm finally starting to recover financially from going to too many concerts the first 4 months of 2026 so I'm celebrating by buying more concert tickets.

#Just got tickets for gloryhammer and dominum 🙌🏻#I also bought my train tickets to go to Paris for dominum and to Lyon the next day for accept #And it only cost me 48 euros which is crazy #Now I have all my concerts booked for the end of the year 🙌🏻#I wish I could also see Spiritbox and tdwp but alas. I can't do them all

I'm 3 episodes into season 15 of spn and I'm already sobbing and I mean sobbing like gasping for air ugly crying snot everywhere kind of crying I don't know how I'm gonna survive 17 more episodes

#I have been struggling for YEARS to finish this show #I stopped watching it after season 11 because I didn't like how it was going #I picked it back up in 2022 and finally finished season 14 yesterday after many tries #Tbh I still don't like seasons 10 to 14 but I absolutely loved the season 14 finale #And the first 3 episodes of season 15 were a blast #Unfortunately I know how it ends because spoilers are unavoidable #But ough this is gonna be a rough one #I'm excited #I haven't been hysterical like this over an spn episode since season 9 finale

Tip from a California native who goes from around 15-21 degrees C in San Francisco to around 32 degrees C when I visit my parents in the Central Valley: if it gets cold at night/in the evening, open up as many windows as you can in order to get cold air into the living space (just make sure Mirko the cat doesn't get out!). When it starts to get warm, close the windows and cover them up (if you can invest in heavy curtains, do so). In a well insulated house/apartment, this will keep the cold(er) air in.

Two little caveats that I should mention: the Central Valley pretty much only gets dry heat. I do not know if this tip will help in cases of high humidity, like what Europe seems to be dealing with. Also, this only works if it DOES get colder at night.

Bonus Tip: small rooms (like bedrooms) are MUCH easier to cool down, so I'd recomend staying in your bedroom with a suitably large fan as much as you are able to get away with.

Thank you for the tip but I have to be honest, I already do all of this 😅 I'm used to living in the dark in the summer blinds are always closed during the day because the apartment is cross-through so the sun always shines in 🫠 but because it is cross-through we open the balcony and bedroom doors and windows in the evening whenever there's some wind so it cools down the apartment quite a bit! And no worries about Mirko, he's not interested in jumping out of my window of off the balcony (he's too scared to even come close)

Getting screamed at by a client I needed to reschedule because my coworker can't come in today wasn't the way I wanted my day to start.

Angry client complained a bit at the beginning of her rescheduled appointment but didn't scream at me again and even gave me a tip.

But I still finished later than expected (7:30pm) and my train home is 10 minutes late so I'll be home at around 9pm 😃🔫

#I am not excited about getting up at 6 tomorrow for another 10 hours shift
