my theory that has been slowly encroaching over time is that jm is actually using different management contract or licensing or something from the rest of them
like not leaving company but having a separate team managing his schedule, appearances, etc etc
and that this thing of him being 'left out' of photos or content actually has to do with him/his team having final say and having to give approval for any 'official' uses of his image or photo
so say: by contract, so they can't publish anything with him in it until his team gives the okay, so sometimes the (likely resentful of this) staffer or whoever is in a hurry, and just picks something where it won't require sending and waiting to receive feedback
there's just this vibe i get - all of jimin's looks seem a bit different from what the others are doing, the fact that when they're all together they act just the same but professionally there's a sense of maybe distance? not *personally* but in the work sense?
there's a real guardedness and reserve about jm's image now, for all his warmth and approachability, and i could see that resulting in wanting a more specific control over his image rather than 'just trust'ing bighit staff (where we've seen jm-antis harbored before, along with in hybe itself)
i could see him saying i'm just gonna have my own team and then they can do my solo stuff too, and not take staff away from other hybe projects/groups' while also being able to control who has access to him for safety and prevention reasons
like we saw the video team leave hybe so they can't be already 'booked' by the company for other groups, and thus not able to take on work for whoever they choose to. this kind of fits to me with that hiring list that was floating around
i think that behind the scenes at bh and hybe there's a lot of new ways staff are working and moving and being asked to work, and part of it is finding people who can be touring constantly for over a year, and another part is artist safety and privacy
because i think jm lately is very concerned with privacy, and one way to ensure that is if your staff works for *you* not primarily your company. and i don't know what kinds of business or contracting situations you need to make that happen in the context of a group workd tour, but i feel like the shakeout might cause some if the issues we've been seeing, especially with communication channels
if all the other members have blanket approvals for some things, but jm requires an extra check, that makes more work, more time, and i could see some resentment or confusion over like, why does he get this specific treatment? (and the answer is he negotiated it into his contract that's why or something like that)
it just reminds me of the early concert issue with the cameramen not getting jm on the big screen - because he wasn't looking for them and standing still for 'moments', he was moving constantly to give every fan a show and expecting the camera folks to do their jobs. like they are hired to film the group, it's not on the members to make it easier for the cameras at the expense of the real people attending the show, and he wasn't going to do their work for them. and eventually they caught up and worked out a system (or got 'reassigned'?) - they realized they couldn't just park at the main stage and expect him to come play to the camera
but this independence in his process, even while being fully invested as a team player, is what makes me think there might be more of this behind the scenes. i feel like jm has seen to many slips and too many 'oopsies i didn't mean it'-s to fully trust a behind the scenes system where he doesn't have more control, especially as he seems hmm uniquely vulnerable to certain kinds of bad actors and is maybe fed up with hybe using a possibly one-size-fits-all kind of approach in reacting to such things
idk, idk, it just is something i've been mulling over, what could possibly result in these kinds of issues without falling into some kind of conspiracy or victim narrative
like it could just be business, people. if anything, i think hobi might also have something similar going, but more streamlined since he's had a team from at least jib days and is used to actively directing groups.
jm realistically i think is the type to bring in someone whom he trusts and then say things like 'ok do what you think is best' and want to be a little more hands-off in certain aspects - and i know from real life that that can result in miscommunication and crossed wires occasionally. a man wants to be able to sleep in and play video games and not micro-manage every aspect of his image himself sometimes!
but anyway, yeah if you've been burned before, i could see requesting a bit of a review process for stuff concerning your face and name, and maybe a staff to do that and maybe some other staff finding that to be troublesome until a reliable system is established because 'that's not how things have always been done!'. and jm being tolerant for now because he knows new ways of doing things mean new kinds of mistakes, and also like what a way to out the hidden company antis and make them visible lol
