Syd's dad just so happy to be there, proud of Syd and impressed with everything. Not too far away from him are Syd and Carmy working closely together.

I think this might be prophetic

It just might be how Syd and Carmy get through things in the future. Syd's dad showed up and stayed close to both of them. He didn't need Syd coming out there to make him feel good.

He knew he was taken care of, when he got the soda, the food with no cherry and the staff checking on him.

Carmy's mom showed up, stayed outside, caused chaos and tears in Pete, made it about herself, then left.

So glad it looks like they'll both have someone who is grounded. They also have each other
