Crowley choosing "Angel" as Aziraphale's identifier....
Aside from the fact that "Aziraphale" is frankly hard to say, I think this mostly speaks to how he views Zira. Aziraphale is at his core astonishingly good. He does the right thing any way he can. He IS an angel. In the fashion that the humans around them mean it. Heaven's other denizens cannot claim this. So for Crowley Aziraphale is not an angel but The Angel. Separate, distinct, and loved.

How is it that Crowley has been hanging around the bookshop getting drunk with Aziraphale since opening day and any of the neighboring shop keepers don't just register him as part and parcel of said odd business?

It's not (just) that Crowley can't forgive and forget. He is watching his long term partner be reeled back in by an abusive parent. Heaven and thereby God, is telling Zira that he can both come home and bring his partner if he's willing to "fix" his partner first. And Crowley is trying to remind him that the whole reason that they have a bond at all is that there isn't anything TO fix. Neither Heaven nor Hell is correct and they don't need either side. What Zira is asking of Crowley is that he ignore that his (Zira's) family have literally threatened them both with the ultimate consequence for being together. To accept little more than an empty promise that "they'll change" five minutes after they kick out (and threaten to destroy) the only one who has demonstrated any change. (And boy howdy what does it say about your family when your racist brother getting an other race girlfriend is somehow redeeming after he went literal hate crime on you?)
Aziraphale can love God without accepting abuse and partner shaming, but not in Heaven. And this is so extra devastating for Crowley because Aziraphale knows that, or should. He is totally dumb face in love but he can't participate in his Angel flaying himself for those twats.
And that is why this ending ruins the most beautiful show around. I don't care that it's realistic for Zira to lean back into the abuse, it was cruel to do it to both the character and the audience.
And the Bentley agrees with me.

Lost a lot of respect for Dog here. Still hoping when Daryl kills these fools Dog leaves with him, but clearly he's an exceptionally poor judge of character.

Most striking to me is how much more open Norman is than when they started doing talking dead.
But also Dog damn well better be okay damnit, and Rick would fully deserve to be punched in the face.

Unpopular opinion TWD season 10
The back half of season 10 was pointless.
All the questions from mid season remain unanswered and unexplored.
Daryl and Carol are both still angry because Connie remains an open issue.
The search for resources shows us yet again that the world ending screws people up. Shocking. Or, you know, not really.
One of the writers decided to write self insert fanfiction that seeks to invalidate the really honest and adorable Daryl/Connie dynamic. Can you tell how excited I am for this pointless aside?
Who captured Ezekiel and company? To hell if I know. The CRM probably.
And I'm supposed to forgive Negan being the definition of an egocentric asshole because he wasn't always? No thanks. Everything in the flash back was understandable, but what he was when our people meet him was still unforgivable.
It was almost like spending a season with Morgan and the cheese maker, which I rather disliked the first time around.

I know in part it's that they torpedoed my sweet/cute Dog head cannon, but I didn't enjoy the flash back portion of this episode.
I think my real problem is the idea that he abandoned a child he loves to search tirelessly for Rick but then he takes time out to play house, but not enough time to placate the woman involved... Seems both disingenuous and out of character. And Daryl Dixon is not the sort of man to leave a "find me" note. Yes he is willing and able to let go and expect the other person to find him, but not to leave something a stranger could find and exploit.
That being said, the present portions of the episode were a longtime coming. Carol runs, she always has, she always will. The only real question is when she decides to start running toward something instead of away.
Daryl needs to decide who and what his priorities are. If he resents what she's done he needs to own that. You can love someone and still be angry with them.
Coming this spring to the fandom cave
Anybody else ever search for a story you want to read again only to realize it's one of your own unfinished wips?
Finally got around to seeing knives out... Casting bias is alive and well in the fandom cave. I had the right answer at about the forty five minute mark and started wild conjecture to try and make it fit my conceptions of the cast instead. But all in all a funny and fun romp through some screwed up old school mystery tropes.
Okay, I need to vent and it IS fandom so this seems my spot for it...
I'm a Stephen King fan. I like several of the books, I enjoy most of the films, and love a few of the shows and mini series. (Loved the book version of Langoliers and the Gary Sinse version of the Stand. And Maximum Overdrive is the best B movie ever.)
I had however never bothered with the Dark Tower. Then I caught the Matthew McConaughey movie, and as a longtime bookworm know if you even mildly like the film read the book. 80/20 you'll like the book better.
Mistake. Roland was a dick in the film but Walter was an evil enough foil for it to work.
At first I was intrigued enough by the universe itself to shrug off Roland being neither heroic, nor interesting. I suppose he appeals to teenaged boys who wish to grow up to be John Wayne. When Jake and Oy rounded out the ka-tet I truly began to enjoy the story. Until that is, we got to the second half of Wizard and Glass. My opinion of Roland only falls further the longer this ramble about his mistaking teenaged lust for true love pulls out like sun warmed taffy.
Why won't it end? I think I got through Under the Dome faster. By far.
So I'm watching BBC America and they broke in to the commercials with a message from the queen. Thanking health care workers, those providing essential services and those staying the hell home. She was eloquent, informed and reassuring. Even understanding that not everyone has faith but that you don't need it to help and support others. Oh what it must be like to have an adult speaking for your country.
