suzuki shou: he’s more than that
remember when we were all scared he wouldn’t have red hair in the anime?

He’s the youngest of the major characters that we know of, his favorite hobby is drawing, he likes wrestling, and he has a pet hamster. And his father tried to take over the world.
I personally don’t agree with a lot of what fanon has made of Shou. Fanon is fun as hell to participate in, but I think that a lot of us have forgotten who he really is. And that’s what made us love him in the first place, isn’t it? It’s like drawing: it’s good to know what you’re drawing before you change it into your own style.
Before I get any further into this, please keep in mind that these are how I see the character. Please tell me if you disagree and why, I really love talking about this a lot. But hear me out:
There’s been one thing that’s been bothering me for a while that I want to discuss. And that is his feelings towards his father.
Point One: He doesn’t hate Touichirou
Do not get me wrong. I heavily dislike Touichirou. I don’t want to use the word “hate” because of reasons that I will discuss later. But I do not like him and I am not trying to justify his behavior in any way. I don’t think Shou hates him though. Why, you may ask?
