“ one might say you did, ” theo answered with a smug smirk. it was strange to see his own mother not knowing who he was, but of course, he’d been more than prepared for that. he technically wasn’t even born yet. “ but yes, we have met. i’m rather curious to hear where you think you’ve seen me before. ”

MARKUS:

After spending sometime wandering around town, Markus found himself outside the Lost and Found bookstore. Maybe they had some second hand occult books, to help Markus find some answer. Markus pushed the door open, and stepped inside. The smell of books, old and new enveloping, Markus as he moved through the stacks and glanced around before stopping sighing, as he saw some a few shelves over. “Uh excuse me.” Markus asked as he walked over to the person. “I don’t know if you work here, but do you know if there are any supernatural books around here?”

lux definitely didn’t work here. she was mostly just here to browse, curious to see how much knowledge people had on her kind during this time. she knew the basics; there had been very, very few of them, and her cousin jack had been the only one around. the stranger was the perfect opportunity for entertainment. “ supernatural books? ” she asked, raising her eyebrows. “ you mean, like, the series? or the genre? or... like, real supernatural stuff? ‘cause if it’s the latter, do i have a treat for you! i’m an expert. ask me anything, and i’ll be able to answer. ” and yes, she was pretty knowledgeable on all things supernatural, but that didn’t mean she had to be truthful with her answers.

castiel still wasn't convinced that mariana and rogue were truly his adopted daughters. there was a connection there, and neither of them seemed to be lying, though it was difficult to know for sure. regardless, he didn't want anything to happen to either of them. " they're adopted, " he answered seriously. " so no. my assumption would be that they'd still be born. although, if dean and i do adopt them in the future, it would be a shame if that were to not happen due to a change of events. "

" i have no interest in playing your silly little game. regardless, i can't stand most of the people i know, and spending a night with them would be unbearable. " theo answered. most was the key word, and destiny was the exception.

THEA:

Since arriving back in time, Thea had spent some time looking for her parents, but was yet to locate them. Eventually, she gave up and started focusing on the task at hand – figuring out how to stop Malivore. It would require some magic that she was unfamiliar with, so she knew it would be something that she needed to practice. Having found a somewhat secluded place in the woods on the edge of town, she’d gotten to work. Everything was going great until it wasn’t. Without warning, a strong gust of wind blew through the area, knocking down everything that Thea had set up. Looking up, she spotted someone standing nearby. “Let’s pretend you didn’t see that.”

theo had seen the other sneak of into the woods, following from a safe distance and watching with curiosity. if he was honest, he couldn’t care less about malivore. he was perfectly capable of protecting himself and his loved ones -- at least, in his humble opinion -- and what did it matter to him if other people got hurt? “ hm, didn’t see what? ” he teased, giving a warm smile, as though the gust of wind wasn’t of his own creation. not that thea seemed to have noticed. “ what exactly is it that you’re trying to achieve, here? you have an... interesting approach. ”

HARRISON:

Harrison had never thought time travel was something that would actually be possible, but there he sat, at the bar in the Mystic Grill, three years before he was born. It was crazy, but it had happened. It felt strange, but he was quickly getting used to it. Finishing off the drink in front of him, he looked to the person next to him. “You want another round? It’s on me.”

“ do i look like the kinda girl who’d turn down that offer? ” lux asked with a big grin. she still had a little left of her last drink, but took the opportunity to down it in one. as a nephilim, it took a lot more alcohol to get her drunk that most people, so she was barely feeling it. she placed the glass down, looking across at the other and giving a smug look. “ of course i do. ”

DEAN:

dean had definitely most reacted badly to finding out about his children from the future, but given how much he’d been through and all of the tricks that he’d faced in his life since getting into the hunting business at such a young age, nobody could blame him for being suspicious. the only two people that he really trusted one hundred percent were sam and cas, and so when cas asked him to meet them at the grill, he’d headed straight there. “ hey. ” any attempt at a cutesy nickname or anything of the sort hung in the air, unsaid, because there were other priorities that took precedence. “ she did. though i didn’t take it very well. you believe her ? ”

castiel didn’t allow himself to show how much that comment hurt. of course dean didn’t handle it well. he didn’t return castiel’s feelings, so it must’ve been even more strange for him to discover that not only were they going to raise children together, but they were also going to get married. “ i’m not sure. she didn’t appear to be lying, but there are, of course, obvious flaws in her story, ” he answered. “ we have no reason to believe that sam would forgive and reunite with ruby, even less so that you and i would get married and raise a family. mariana isn’t biologically related to either of us, but she did claim to be adopted. and she’s human. ”

LYDIA:

Lydia normally wasn’t this nice to people when first meeting them but she didn’t want to be alone either she had just met one of her ‘future’ kids and she didn’t know how to cope with that at all. “ i usually just get vodka cranberry, I’m just a basic one” she laughed as they walked down the little pahtway that would lead them to the Bar. “ I’m Lydia by the way”

“ castiel, ” the angel responded with a warm smile. he, too, usually didn’t do too well with company. he wasn’t particularly good at making new friends, and he preferred just being with his close family. it was strange to think that said family might be extended in the future. he’d have children other than jack. “ you’re different from my friends. they’re partial to beer, though i suspect vodka cranberry will be a nice change. ”

ROGUE:

Rogue looked up to her dad and tilted her head , she knew his mind must of been going all over the place as she knew he had just met her sister not too long ago and now here she was playing tricks with him. Looking down at her soiled shirt she tried to wipe some it off but no help of course. Shaking it off she looked back to him” yeah dad I’m fine , just you owe me a new shirt now” she said . Know exactly what she said to him and hoping for the catch on his end.

it took castiel a short moment to process what he’d just heard, and he didn’t know what to make of it. first mariana, and now another young woman he didn’t recognise. not only that but, unlike mariana, this supposed daughter wasn’t human. his grace picked up on it almost immediately. “ i am not your father, ” he said, voice low and serious, though there was an evident uncertainty lacing his tone. “ and i have no knowledge of human fashion. ”

ELENA:

elena nodded at his apology, she was still a little off guard with his entrance and then when he told her what he was her eyes about bugged out of her head. “an..angel?” she was trying to process, it had been a weird few days. “what is it that you need to ask me?” realizing she hadn’t introduced herself she wet her lips. “i’m elena.”

over time, castiel had come to learn that dropping the information that he was an angel with no warning or build up tended to have this kind of reaction. the belief in angels wasn’t quite as widespread as he’d once believed. “ yes, an angel, ” he echoed with no further elaboration; she’d need some time to process, he thought. “ i’d like to ask if you’ve encountered anyone claiming to be family of yours. ”

RUBY:

“and where did that get me?” she asked, an unamused expression settled on her face when the angel all but threatened her, truthfully she wasn’t scared of him. “and what exactly is it that is so important that you are recruiting me for it? must be pretty bad then.”

“ remaining where you belonged. unfortunately, temporarily, ” castiel muttered, unamused. it made no difference to him that the demon showed no fear; he knew what would happen were they to fight. still, he’d meant what he said. they had other priorities. “ we have families, ” he said seriously. “ supposedly. children who need both of us alive. not to mention malivore. ”

nodding her head, the dark haired woman begun to walk to their destination, keeping pace with her father, “ nothing bad happened to any of them. uncle sam is married to aunt ruby and you and dad, i mean dean, are married. you guys adopted me when i was a newborn, “ a soft smile on her lips, “ mariana samantha winchester. mariana for mary and samantha for sam, “

castiel came to a stop, freezing in place. just like that, he no longer believed this could be his child. ruby was dead, and even if she weren’t, sam knew better than to attempt a relationship with her again. and it was even more unbelievable that dean could ever return castiel’s feelings for him. they’d had plenty of time for dean to bring it up since he’d returned from the empty, and he never had. he’d only teased him. he was silent for a long moment. “ who are you really? ” he eventually asked.
