"I wonder," said Professor McGonagall in cold fury, turning on Professor Umbridge, "how you can expect to gain an idea of my usual teaching methods if you continue to interrupt me? You see, I do not generally permit people to talk when I am talking." - Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
A little gif set of my four fav dames :D
Otis Redding in the Car. This is a pretty accurate depiction of my driving habits.

American Horror Story re-energized me; it re-energized my career . There’s no shame in recognizing that. It’s exposed me to a whole new generation, which is a little strange. I’m not used to young people thinking I’m cool.
my blog is an inconsistent piece of shit but at least i have fun
Aw no, Mrs K... :( She was always one of my favourites.
I am outta here with that.
"… it was such a vivid and clear time in my head and probably the most important years of my whole career.”
- Maggie Smith on the Stratford Festival, prior to being awarded the Festival’s Legacy Award in 2012
You're a fraud, Helen. You're a walking lie and I can see right through you.
Nothing like a woman with a brilliant mind and a filthy mouth.

I just love her face for this whole scene.
We have just shot one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen: Maggie in the wind machine. When the huge wind comes to reap the barley, everyone is blown about like anything and it was Maggie’s turn and she just walked into it and everything came off her head almost immediately, including parts of her wig, and, as she said afterwards, not an insignificant portion of her brain. We yelled with hysteria all the way through and then watched it on the video and yelled again. Bliss. - Emma Thompson, on the making of Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang with Maggie Smith.
I think I'm going to have to watch this movie just for this scene.
TV Tropes: "Little old lady is attacked. Little old lady kicks ass. Moral of the story: Never Mess with Granny."
