While there is 0 way this is the case considering this is Toby Radiation Fox, I do like the idea that Dess is just... dead.
I think there's something very touching and insightful in the thought that Dess just disappeared one day, and hasn't come back not because she is planning some evil machinations within the Dark World to fulfill a prophecy about destroying the world, but instead she hasn't come back because she is just... gone.
She is gone, and she won't come back, and her town is different because of it, and her family is broken because of it, and it won't be fixed because she isn't coming back.
Idk, I just think there's something there. Let me know if I'm crazy I guess.

I think maybe the worst part about the society we live in is how you just... can't avoid any of the bad things anymore. There used to be at least SOMETHING you could have done to take your mind off of it now but no. I go outside, the mom and pop shops are closed and being taken over by mega corporations, the people in my neighborhood are flying trump and confederate flags, blinded either by choice or by ignorance to the way things are. I turn on the TV and the channel is the news and people are in situations that would make the Old Testament God shudder and avert his eyes in shame. I open my phone to scroll on social media and everyone there is competing for my attention in the worst ways.
I feel constantly as if I am in hell, and I can do NOTHING about it.
I don't have the money, the influence, the time, the freedom, to fix ANYTHING. The constant bad has induced such nihilism in me that i don't see the point of me joining any groups as if all of this time them doing something hasn't fixed a damn thing, why would my influence change anything?
I am tired of living in a wildfire when the trees were not planted by me, the spark was created by a lighter twice the size of me, the others trapped inside either only have water guns to fight it, are sitting in the center ignoring it, or are throwing gasoline to ignite the fire further to "protect their liberty" or whatever other excuse they have.
I just want things to be good again.

Little fun fact about me I love sonic the hedgehog so much I could cry all the time every day about sonic the hedgehog and not just sonic the character cause while he is great i like sonic the franchise in general like i love how the characters interact and how interwoven they are and how much they love each other even when they are intrinsically opposed and how much hope sonic shows and how strong knuckles is and how much love amy shows to others and how cool rogue is and how smart starline is and how cunning eggman is and how brave vector is and anyway all that to say that I REALLY like sonic a normal amount.

Trying to be a VA is really fun and great until you realize that you hate how your mic picks up your voice and hate how your voice sounds and hate whatever stupid background noise your mic is picking up despite the fact you turned off literally everything in your house and you threw yourself in the biggest blanket you could find
