Things a Little does not have to be
Everyone simply assumes that each little is exactly the same. That they’re all pretty and cutesy and wear frilly clothes and loves girly things. This just isn’t the case. In the CGLO community, just like in every other aspect of life, everyone is differen’t I have compiled a list of a few things that are NOT required for someone to be a little.
1.)They don’t have to all be girls. There are plenty of babyboys just as there are babygirls. There can also be genderfluid, trans, nonbianrary, whatever your gender identity! You do not have to be a girl.
2.)They do not have to like pink. I personally am not a fan of bright colors in general. Sure I think pink is a good color every now and again but I prefer darker colors and that’s okay! Whatever colors you like you like em baby!
3.)Littles do not have to be little. Let me explain this. I am 5′3″ and almost 180 pounds, as you can imagine I’m on the chubby side. You could be 6′2″ and 200 pounds and still be a Little! Your size does not define who you are as a person.
4.)They don’t have to look cutesy. Let me break this down. If you have tattoos, piercings, a mowhawk, whatever you can still be a Little! Being little is a state of mind, it has nothing to do with your appearence.
5.)They don’t all have to wear girly things. If you’re a babyboy and you don’t like wearing frilly, prissy, pretty things then baby you don’t have to. If you’re a babygirl and prefer to wear baggy clothes, jeans, hoodies, boxers then you rock that shit sugar! Being a Little is all about being comfortable. If you like the way you look and are comfortable with it then you go on with ya bad self! Again being Little is a state of mind not appearence.
6.)They do not have to crave sex. No matter what you are not requred to do anything that makes you uncomfortable. This applies to EVERYTHING in life. If you are not comfortable with doing something you don’t have to. The CGLO relationship is about love, boundaries, rules, acceptance, caring, playfullness, and safety. If you don’t want to do anything sexual then sweetheart you don’t have to.
7.)They CAN have mental disorders. Not everyone on this planet is mentally stable. I myself suffer from high anexity, bipolar depression, skitzophrenia, DID, and BPD and my daddy loves and accepts me for all of these. Sure it’s a bit more work but if you truely love and cherish someone and are a true Caregiver then any mental problems your Little has should not stand in the way.
8.)Littles do not have to be submissive. Me personally I am my Daddys submissive little but that does not mean that a Little instantly has to be the bottom or the Caregiver instantly has to be the top in the relationship. While the Caregiver may set the rules and boundaries that the Little obeys (or disobeys) that doesn’t mean that the Little has no control over the relationship. Just because a person takes a certain role in the relationship according to part of their personality that does not mean they have to fit exactly what that role entitles. They are their own person and are allowed to do as they see fit.
Now this is just a short list but these are the main problems I’ve seen in the CGLO community with people thinking a Little needs to conform to this cookie cut idea of the “Perfect Little”. Let me tell ya somethin darlin, there’s no such thing as perfect when it comes to human beings. You need to love someone for all the faults, mistakes, bumps, and bruises that come along with them. Never let anyone tell you you have to look or act a certain way to be what you already know you are.
