Today I was following some rather interesting conversation online about finnish sauna customs - one of them being that no titles nor hierarchies are aknowledged in the sauna. This includes military ranks in the saunas used (and, as needed, built) by soldiers. Someone was confused by this, and asked if what, an army general and a prince enter a sauna, they just don’t mean anything?

Yes. Correct. No kings allowed in a sauna.

Someone else pointed out how ridiculous it would look to salute somene completely ass naked, not to speak of how pathetic it would look to demand a salute while completely naked.
