âFreddyâs flying in today!â Darcy couldnât hold her excitement in.
âAnd Freddy is?â She asked grinning.
Leilani looked from the person in front of her towards the floor and eventually back up to something else. Anything that would a distraction from the disrespectful person in front of her. Whether they were drunk or high or what have it, they were asking her things sheâd rather not answer so she figured she just try and find something else to focus on or someone else for that matter.
Victoria rushed up to dark haired girl, seeing she was in some type of distress. She had seen her around the building and she wanted to help her out. âThere you are! I thought I had lost you!â She gushed smiling. âIâm really sorry, but Iâm going to have to steal her from you.â She said turning the person behind her.Â
Moving is such a pain in the ass. I donât know why people do it so often. I know people who have moved six times in one year by choice. Itâs ridiculous. Iâd rather stay in one place forever than go through the whole process of moving so often.
Up until I was twenty I had lived in the same place. Now Iâve lived in about three different places. But I completely agree.
âWell, this place looks like less of a shithole than I had imagined. Perhaps it wonât be so bad.â
Thatâs the sprite! Being positive and shit.
âAye, uh, I donât mean to bother you nâ shit, but is the wifi down for you too? Shit ainât fuckinâ working for me.â
Iâm sorry. Mine is working just fine.Â
âThank you⊠Iâm on 11C, if you find it. Itâs really important â I mean, aside from having all my work in it, I really need it for next week.â She made a dismissive gesture. âBut you didnât want to know that. Sorry. Iâm just kind of anxious right nowâŠâ
âYouâre fine.â She said waving her hand. âIâll be sure to be on the look out for it, and will bring it right up as soon as it find it. Iâm sure itâll all work out!â
âHave you seen my portfolio? Itâs like this large, black folder. Itâs really importantâŠâ
Um, no. But I can keep an eye out?
âThis is honestly, so fucking frustrating.â
âIâm sorry. Did you need help with something?â
âOh hey! Didnât expect to see you here.â Cherry grinned as she saw a familiar face, âIâve seen you around the complex. Come for a dance and a drink? I could go for another.â
Tori turned to look at where the voice was coming from over the loud music. Parting ways with some friends, and leaning closer. âSorry, didnât catch that.â She said loud enough for the girl to hear over the music.
âI know, right? All for equal rights in the office, but it seems impossible for them to keep their opinions to themselve on a public street.â
Men can be such pigs, itâs down right disgusting.Â
Aleisha shook her head, but it was obvious that Tori wasnât going to back down from her argument. âYouâre too cute.â She laughed before looking at the girl as she spoke, âActually that was it, i mean, i had most of it already, just those.. So thank you, so much.â Aleisha gushed happily, knowing that without her help sheâd still be struggling along in the lobby.Â
Victoria shrugged, and smiled. âIâm glad I could help. Moving in was such a hassle. I was lucky to have had my brother and his friends helping me.â She said softly.Â
Youâre welcome, not much effort on my part, though, not much to thank me for.
You didnât have to offer though. That was sweet.Â

Leisha: I mean, ur not Beyonce, but like the second best option
Tori: I am no second best!
âI know right? I mean, who wouldnât want to spend the rest of their life with a mysogninistic pig?â Poppy laughed. âThey do. Men are great individually, but I think that, as a collective, they need a good to.â
I just donât understand. Men can cat call, but donât let them hear us even call them hot because itâs sexual harassment in the work place.Â
Okay, so, the freezer at work broke so they gave me a fuck ton of burritos and tacos and the like. Please, take some off my hands, the freezer in our apartment is full and I still have all this shit.
The way to my heart! I love tacos though. Burritos not so much. But yeah of course. Thank you!
âI donât quite understand why catcalling is a thing Iâve never looked at a guy that yelled âyo sweet titsâ and thought âthatâs the person I want to spend the rest of my life with.â Has it ever actually worked?
That totally works! Like all the time! I met my last boyfriend that way! Iâm totally kidding though! He needed to be smacked.
Iâ yeah, I was. I donât play anymore.
My brother liked to watch you play.Â
