Samuel F. B. Morse experimented with the first form of electronic communication. This form of communication ended up being the electronic telegraph. Along with the telegraph, he introduced Morse Code which is a series of dots and dashes representing letters of the alphabet.

In the battle of the Alamo, all of the soldiers were killed and only about 30 people who were not in combat were spared. These people included African Americans, women, and children.
